what is the first ski movie you saw and how did it influence you? the first one i saw was MSP's SKI MOVIE. i thought it was the coolest thing ever. i have always been a skier since i was about 4 and this was the first ski movie i saw. i was so amazed, i had never seen people do tricks like that before so the rest of my ski season my friend and I just built jumps (small ones haha) and tried to huck 360's.. those were the days.

It was some Warren Miller one, I forget which one. I was about 9 or 10 at the time, and I remember one of the guys in the movie ended up being my ski coach for a season a couple years later.

I saw Stereotype and i thought Dash Longe had the best style ever so i tried to grind rails like him and look at me now, ive won X games and WSI!

Old as warren miller movie, i still have it! SO dope straight skis and huge hip check turns i love how they used to fly over cornices and land at 90.. soooo dope

Propaganda. a local ski shop carried PBP for the first time and the cover caught my eye (jp doing the loop!) before that i had been renting warren miller movies. i didn't even know there were freestyle skiing movies until that day.

besides warren miller it was skiings last stand what a bad ass movie not one rail in the whole movie all jumps

Royalty then Propaganda right in a row. iafter watching royalty i couldnt stop. the first movie i owned was salad days though

Oakley Team Vid...Session 1242....completely blew my mind!!!

Tanner in the park, JP,JF,Philou,Julien Reigner, Anthony B ...all in one movie.....i didn't know it at the time but now that ive seen more vids it may be the greatest of all time in my oppinion.

Not to mention Pep's segment which had enough awesome shots to be its own movie.

my friend got propaganda the same time i had gotten ski movie.. so thats was a good mix, so insane.

i actually just started to watch movie 2 or 3 years ago and have benn hitting the park since who knows when...it was fun too poach

Degenerates or State of Mind. I was 10 or 11 when I saw and had been into snowboarding for a few years after starting skiing at 2. My best friend's older brother somehow got way into skiing after seeing a late night ad for them (I think?). I've been into it ever since. I actually like the older videos more than most of the new ones. 13 for example, is one of my favorite videos of all time. Perhaps it was just the winters I had in my life when I saw it, or perhaps it really is the best video of all time.

hehe did any of you guys ever see those movies area 51 or 13? Hehe back in the day boy, it was all mute grabs haha.

the original ski movie was my first as well and i just LOVED it haha things have come soo far since then.

I saw the focused premier and that completly blew my mind. I kept talkking to my mom how these skiers had tips on both sides of thier skis and were going over transfers backwards.

Ready Fire Aim!!!!My First and favorite freeski movie ever, the intro just gets me so fricken pumped to ski its amazing. starts with dumont and ends with candide...can it get any better

First actual ski movie though...Warren Millers

White Winter Heat baby yeah

the eleventh hour.

i watched the ninthward kids skiing, and kyler and dylan's combined part about forty times in two weeks because it was my neighbour's new favourite movie. i saw those guys skiing and decided that it looked fun, so i took up skiing.

then i learned how to ski in the park and i don't ever go outside of it ever.

my first was Unknown, but that sucked. My first real one was either The Game or Happy Dayz, both have influenced my riding so much by focusing more on style than hucks. And it made me really appreciate rail skills

Well I saw plenty of Warren Millers when I was younger, and "50" when I was in grade 11. However it was the original SKI MOVIE a year later that made me have to get twins. The movies since then are better, but nothing got me as excited to ski as that one. JP, Seth and McConkey blew my mind. (Funny, 6 years later, its still the same 3 guys I like the best)

State of Mind. I thought it was the coolest thing ever, it made me way stoked and I wanted to try everything those guys did.
