Your first trick!

My first trick was a 180 on flat ground cause i saw someone else do it next to me. Don't even know if it counts as a trick.

we had this really wide and low to the ground flat box set up at the top of the hill, and i would always jump onto it spinning as fast as i could and just keep spinning til i fell off the end of it. I thought I was the hottest kid in the park cuz I could 1080 and slide a box at the same time

chyea, i remember when carving skis were the new hype and those skis were the coolest ones out there ! :D

i cant believe no one spotted this yet... that makes no sense buddy, unless it was a switch 3 which i highly doubt

I don't remember exactly, but it was probably either a safety grab or a spread eagle. I just remember asking my friend what a spread eagle was. Those were the days...

haha, funny you should say that. my buddy learned backflips before he learned 3's because he felt more comfortable flipping. gymnasts are a different breed

I remember quite a few flailing spread eagles and safety grabs, although I don't remember what came first.

There was one 180 I tried to do off a roller, for some reason I went limp as soon as my skis touched and I faceplanting

I can vividly remember my first 360, backflip and 1080. I have no idea what my first trick ever was though, probably a spread eagle or a safety grab. It's weird though I'm now trying to remember when I did like my first 180 or 540 or rodeo and I can't remember at all.

My first trick was a 3 cause I was skiing with my older cousin and he kept hucking 3s and I wanted to copy him.

That was the only trick I could do for like 3 years then I entered the park scene and my progression went something like:

3s, 1s, front 2s out, 5s, misty 5s, misty 7s, back 2s out, regular 7s, rodeos, then everything else

im not a gymnast but im like that. im way more comfortable doing a rodeo 5 than a regular 5. i gotten my spins better now but im still way more comfortable going off axis

haha I dug up some footage of one of my first big air comps ever. This looks like training, so haggard. Judging by the skis, this must have been in the 04/05 season. My first 720's Lincoln's and backflips would have been the season before this then.

a 180 off the tiniest of jumps. Was so pumped to land it too, despite the ridiculous ease.

later that day I also did my first 270. Unfortunately it was a 270 onto snow...so I went down nice and hard. Though the good thing about spinning is that it rarely leaves you in that terrible of a position to go down. You're not gonna land neck first or anything most of the time.
