i don't like the HD that much right now they are good if you have an HD set up but not many people do so i'd rather get a very high end minidv 3ccd cam instead or just wait for the next generation of HD cams

I dunno, I think a higher FPS would be more suited to sports photography, it still has 8mp, with only 1.3x ccd which is still pretty darn good.
