It all depends on your weight and height but I am 6 feet 185 and I have them on 9. You want them fairly high so they dont pop off when you land bad

mine are at 5. (5'4 115 lbs) i dont know why people show off and are like 'my dins are at 17, so if i have a huge fall my knees will rip off of my body before my skis fall off! isnt that sweet!'

just a tip...I used to work at a shop and would see a lot of bindings destroyed because people would set the DIN as high as they can. Never set the DIN to the max...for instance, don't set your s912's past 12, they won't last, believe me

your only supposed to put your dins in the 'wheelhouse' of the bindings... so for s912TIs, you prolly should put em around 7-10... too low or too high are not good for the bindings, esp putting it on the highest setting

if im landing a little forward on fives and my skis are popping off (literally, the binding snaps up like when you take off your skis) is my din to low? i have learned the perfect five to keep my skis from falling off but it still gets annoying

Cruz- if that happens like more than 50% of the time I would say it wouldn't hurt to have them turned up....I would take it to a shop though and tell them the same thing you just told us....then the liability will be on them..

i crank mine down to 12 when i get them, just to make sure i don't come out unexpectedly. they still come off when i bail though, i'm 5'11 and 160 lbs.

why don't the companies make a better brake system so when you land switch and your ski pops off it doesn't bend the hell out of it.
