20 to my local hill, 4 to my lake house then another 45 to whiteface. i did it in 31 once but then i got a speeding ticket the next time and my rents were pissed cuz im only 17 and the po po wanted to take my license away

Depends on who's takin. Friends or fam...its all about how fast you take Big Cottonwood. Its a dangerous canyon, but is usually safe. So I'd say about 30 mins. If its a bus, then you have to stop at all the stops that people are at and when people request to stop, then usually a little over an hour. My house is less than 5 miles away from the mouth, so about 20ish miles up the canyon. But it climbs to over 8,000 feet which is about what twice the Salt Lake Valley is.
