Your Bryan Gallant has officially quit skiing.

Too many injuries. He was really getting good for a bit there, and then he just had his last knee injury. He's on to golf now.

Dude sounds like an idiot. Oh no, he got injured too much in the park, so he can never ski anything EVER again. What's wrong with cruising groomers from time to time or hitting some bc lines. There is more to skiing than park.
 
10/10. How old is this Gallant dude anyway. From the few edits ive seen, he wasnt that amazing, but his facebook comments make him seem borderline PROO.

There would be nothing wrong with a guy like Gallant (or anybody for that matter) except he had/has the biggest fucking ego, and always got super butthurt when either 1) people talked shit about his abilities, but mostly talkin shit about his ego or 2) his skiing abilities keept his ego in check I.E. disaster on the disaster.

One has to let the skiing take you over and say fuck the spotlight... or something along those lines. He never did.
 
^opinion..its his decision. he may end up on skis again if he has kids or something. hes living his life and moving on..will only know with time
 
All of you guys that are hating hard are idiots. It sounds to me like the guy loved, and probably still loves, skiing but the risk of getting injured just isn't worth it for him anymore. It sounds like he is fairly satisfied/comfortable with his choice and he is moving on. In actuality, many of you should probably be giving him props because unlike a lot of you he doesn't give a shit about what other people think and is going to do what he wants to do.
 
It sounds like hes an idiot who thinks he's much better at skiing than he actually is, and i dont see why he cant just go out and cruise groomers or the park....pretty sure he would still have fun.

I can see where he's coming from, and i respect it. It's his decision to make, I dont see why everyone is so butthurt over it.
 
no, he really does deserve all the hate. fuck him because skiing is a lot better without a cocky douche like that running around "representing" the sport. this is just proof that he's full of shit, a pussy and foremost only cared to get famous in skiing and never really enjoyed it. any kid who sees skiing as just a venue to be famous doesn't deserve to be on skis in the first place.
good-bye clown, good luck with those flat-down box disasters you will surely eat shit on in later life.
 
body. 2 knee surgeries, 1 broken ankle, 1 bad shoulder, 1 broken index finger. That's why he's giving up? What a homo! So I guess the lesson here is, if you suck, just qiut! No need to try.
 
stopping out of the risk of getting injured, i respect that. the body isn't invincible and if i had to sit around for months at a time waiting for an injury to heal up that would suck. having that roller coaster of experiences multiple times, maybe he just didn't want it anymore and wants to try out something new
 
it was only for a month or so, and i bought an xbox 360 the day after i did it, xbox can only plug the gap for so long
 
Let's just say there is some room for interpretation with this response. More like 10 years later he's finally come to the realization that he's not going to be any more pro than he was in 2001. I'm sure Gallant loves [loved] skiing but he sure was a douche back in the day when I had the pleasure of meeting his cocky self.
