homemade fisheye, i took my wide angle lense from my video camera and held it in front of my d70 with a 19-62mm wide angle on it...bumped up the ISO for some more grain to try to get a film look
The hallway and the Vietnam wall were really sweet. I wish the Vietnam wall pic didn't have a slice of a person in it though. How does it look cropped?
yeah i have a cropped one i just accidentally uploaded the original. i realized it later but i didnt feel like going through the trouble to re-upload the fixed one
everyone loves ansel adams. its funny how some of his photos are wildly popular while others, that aren't much different (in quality and content), are unknown to most.
There was an Ansel Adams Gallery in the Edinburgh Art Gallery couple weeks ago. 3 Stories of his photos, it was pretty awesome to see all his work in real.
there was an amazing exhibition at the corcoran in DC. seeing some landscapes printed in excess of 10 feet in length was amazing. going on simultaneously was an annie liebovitz show encompassing her work from 1990 - 2005.
