ok here is what I have been up to lately in regards to work. This is a product shot for Lightrein's upcoming website. First is shot with 30D+70-200 2.8. The second shot shows the lighting and light modifiers used to get the first shot. It was shot with a digital rebel and sigma 10-20. If you have any questions feel free to ask :)

yes there is a typo in the shot. I am aware of it. no need to mention the typo.

This is probably the best skiing related picture I've taken. It's from the final of JOI 07 and I got real lucky capturing the other photographers flashes (which only happend 7 times of over 500 shots)

^yea man wtf the colors are surreal, like a watercolor painting but cooler. how much ps/post-prod did you do on that shot?

haha I try lol.

if you get it right in camera there is very little need for post processing. especially with studio lights. (that was shot natural light as you can tell) In studio, all I do is sharpen and convert to my output format using capture one pro.

Another one from my latest shoot.

These shots caught the eye of some of edmonton's top fashion photographers and are getting passed along to recommend me as a new photographer for the fashion agency.

That is on a trail near Nelson BC called "The Old Growth Trail". It is actually my dad's trail that he planned, designed and built for the government. It is the sickest trail with trees up to 800 years old that are 20 feet in diameter.

when you shoot studio there is no need for that.

the shots I posted from my last shoot, all I did was sharpen and wb to change the hue.

I use capture one pro to edit my shots with.
