But even if they are i really doubt that a man that graduated from harvard and made it through the primaries is an idiot. In fact i know hes not, and theres no way hes worse than bush. i mean have you heard any of his speeches. There awful .

I didn't shove anything in anyone's face. You chose to click on the thread as everyone else will. It's obvious from the title what way the thread is going. the vids are more funny than political.

at it again? I've posted in a couple threads, but nothing too political. Im kinda lazy with that right now. Hate shouldnt come to anyone for making a political thread, only if someone posts something incredibly stupid, racist, completely wrong, etc.

Disrespecting me for what? making a thread with some half funny/half political threads? doesn't make sense at all.
 
Lawl, that was pretty good. It seems he could just practise his speech and do a better job than with the teleprompter haha. I find it ironic that I live in Canada and I know how many states there are, while he is running for president and doesn't know how many states there are. Not hating, just quite funny.
 
Did I say my voting decision is based on those videos. Im voting in november for mccain cause obama is not fit to be president for many reasons.

ya, these threads need to stop. Its great that you support a different candidate, but nobody really cares what your views are. Vote for who you want to and leave other people alone so that they can decide for themselves. Mccain and obama are very different candidates, and obviously their supporters are going to be different as well. I'm a democrat and to me the idea of being a republican is retarded, and obviously you feel the same way about democrats.

Neither candidate is perfect while neither candidate is a bad representation of their party. I don't like McCain because I disagree with his political views, not because he's an old white guy who made few mistakes in a few speeches. I guess you just hate because you can.

while it may seem too political, all the comments I made were not reasons why im not voting for him(Im not 16 Im 20). Would anyone really not vote for him cause he says he sees dead people...God, I hope not. I'm not voting for him, and Im not gonna list the reasons in order to avoid a further political debate in this thread, so be happy.

Not because of any political views he has such as health care, college being a "birth right" to everyone, and other things, that aren't as important as liking breathalysers or making a joke about 57 states.

I really hope everyone picks up the sarcasm there. People, relax, it was just a joke. the title was a little to direct. "funny obama vids" would have been better, but I guess I wanted more people to see them. If you base your political opinions on these vids your an idiot.

And for all the people who are already tired of political threads, good luck this year. Its gonna be hell till well after the election(not saying im making anymore of these, they are just gonna happen...four years ago was bad).

whatever man, theres a million of these threads, and if people dont want to see them, the threads will die, but if you didnt see, pretty much everyhing was sarcastic and was made in a jokingly fashion, not political. so relax. Besides, political talk has been on here for very long, and I dont see why all of a sudden people are complaining(well, I kinda understand, but not so many people complained in 2004 or 06). It's gonna be a long 6 or so months till november.

btw, the real reason I posted this post is because after I read william's post, I saw a banner ad saying, "are you gonna vote for obama in 08? Click yes and recieve a free t shirt." I just thought it was ironic and funny.

I don't think it was a joke, I belive he misspoke, he meant to say 47. He said there's 1 to go and they don't let him go to Alaska or Hawaii. Nothing funny about it.

Ever heard of Territories???

guam, virgin islands, Puerto rico, northern mariana islands, american samoa etc etc...yeah they might not be states per-say...but they are territories and practically states because they do get to vote...it's like in Canada, our government officials won't say "all the provinces and territories" in a speech that's timed, they shorten it up a bit...it's these youtube videos that are the downfall of parties because they are cut up to make it seem like something else...pretty sad that people can be ignorant enough to believe those

I want to defend the youtube videos -- yes you get hacked videos -- i liken them to the media standard -- turn on a TV and all you'll find are cut up stories that make something seem like something else

with youtube, you can find both sides of the story. I've been able to see the full context of what ever current issue the media has blow out of proportion. I've been able to see important excerpts from cspan, (which i'd otherwise have missed because i don't sit there and watch Cspan all day) It allows me to put the candidate up against his/her self on video tape. And It allows for anyone to share their opinion free from corporate allegiance.

nothing is always exempt from negativity, but i for one am glad that youtube is there.

*my favorite channel is a guy called CSPANJUNKIEdotORG as well as his other channel votersthinkdotorg, although it's mostly due to a high olbermann content.

threw the former Fannie Mae CEO over the side as his Vice Presidential

vetter yesterday, only a day after he'd said that Mr. Johnson was only

"tangentially related" to his campaign and that criticism was a "game

that can be played."

Mr. Johnson was cast off after the Journal disclosed

that he had received sweetheart loans from Countrywide Financial – the

very firm that Mr. Obama has specifically excoriated for its role in

the mortgage meltdown. The press corps will now move on to other

things, but this is more than a campaign issue. The disclosure about

Mr. Johnson and his successor as Fannie CEO, Franklin Raines, raises

serious questions about the extent to which favorable mortgage pricing

contributed to Countrywide's rise and fall. At a minimum, a regulatory

probe is warranted.

As for Mr. Obama, Mr. Johnson now joins an intriguing

and growing list of Mr. Obama's ex-associates that includes the

Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Father Michael Pfleger, and former terrorist

bomber William Ayers. We might call this list eclectic, except that

there is a consistent pattern of bad judgment followed by an initial

defense, then followed by rapid disassociation and regret that none of

them were the men Mr. Obama "knew."

We can only wonder if Eric Holder, who is also among

Mr. Obama's veep vetters, will be the next to join this club. As Deputy

Attorney General in the Clinton Administration, he played a role in the

Marc Rich pardon that also deserves to be fully vetted – all the more

so if Mr. Holder is on the short list to be Mr. Obama's Attorney

General. Caroline Kennedy, the other member of Mr. Obama's veep vetting

team, has probably already inherited a stack of files from Mr. Johnson.

She might want to take a peek at Mr. Holder's too
 
barack obama is the man. he is way smart and to make a couple mistakes in a whole bunch of speeches is pretty good. i couldnt do that.
