im so freaking sick today.. stay home from school all that jazz, and im supposed to work tonight (part time job making pizza), so i call in and here is the the convo to my BOSS:

Lynne- intermissions lynne speaking

Jake- hello lynne, its jake. i know this looks bad because its halloween night, but im sick as a dog right now, i couldnt go to school today, and there is no way i can come to work tonight

lynne- so you think that it looks bad cause your not showing up halloween night

Jake- no, becasue im sick and cant come in

Lynne- fine then, ill be calling your house every 30 minutes tonight to make sure you are home

Jake- what ever bye

does your boss call you ever half hour when you call in sick? ... honestly, im getting out of that place asap, only 2 months till i start instructing skiing

 
your boss is an asshole...and pretty dumb too. that has to be so inefficient for his biz to call his employees every half hour when they're sick, and annoying to boot. i bet he just calls you once the whole night
 
i dunno shes hardcore.. she will call atleast every hour, if she calls late when i go to bed to get rest and i wake up to a phone call by her, i will fucking loose it, and quit over the phone right then and there
 
i heard of my boss doing that to someone at my work. the dumb bitch actually went out shopping and the sister answered and said she was shopping, hahahha
 
ahhahah that sucks ass. if shes being a bitch about it then show up for work sick as hell and throw up all over pizzas and shit just to shut her up and show her that you were really sick
 
there was a girl that phoned in to my work and told us that her grandfather was in the hospital sick and she needed to go see him(family emergency) and then later she was out with her little sister getting pizza right across from the hospital and my boss saw here there and gave her shit and her grandfather was acutally in the hospital. But we have one girl who phones in sick constantly and she gets in shit so much and half the time she isnt sick
 
well if your a kid/teen then yeah it seems kinda sketchy that you call off halloween.

but you should just go show up and be sneezing, coughing and drooling all over the pizza and shit. then be like, satisfied now bitch
 
if she does phone just have one of your parents pick up and say your sleeping because you are sick, i doubt she would phone back again.
 
Well then that would get him fired...the whole point of her calling is to check if he is there and not running around, youre pretty dumb arent you?
 
yeah take the phone off the hook, and then just be like you were talking to your grandma cas your uncle died last night, and she was really sad.
 
just dont answer the phone, if she wants to fire u it shouldnt matter because u wanna quit anyway, so just tell her to eat u and then throw up all over her
 
Yea after she showed her lack of trust i would have said fine bitch im coming in, and made it a point to hack as much shit all ove that joint as i possibly could!!
 
hahah jake thats harsh...puke in a bag and give it to her as proof...if she fires u, you can take her to court and sew(sp?) her for wrongfully firing u becasue u can easily proove that u were sick today...good luck with that one...
 
fer real u just shouldnt answer your phone and if she asks why u didnt answer say you were in bed and the medicenes u took to get better made u tired as hell so u went to bed at like 6....

she never called, that bitch, i had a speach ready for her too. oh well, now i go into work for next shift, tell her im quitting because she doesnt trust me and she either says well good bye or dont go jake i do its just with the whole scenario, ill give you a raise if you stay.. haha that would be sweet, deff quitting tho. ive been there for over a year and she cant trust me..
