Is on the best powder day of the year, for Mt Bachelor, and there are kids in the park, yo are you guys for real?

You need to check what make skiing fun and not what makes you look cool. Powder is the most single greatest fun aspect of skiing, and if you don't like the light pow that has been falling lately then either you suck at skiing and can only slide a rail, or your insane. Nothing like getting head high pow, and getting face shots, no homo. But if you'd rather ski the park its cool, more for us. Park is for the days of none good snow.

Get A Life!

why bother telling people what to enjoy? if they like park, then fine.

personally I also laugh at kids hiking rails on powder days, but to each his own, ya know?

i understand where you are coming from.. but sometimes there is just nothing better than park. the other day was a fun powder day at hood, but i took a couple runs through the park and it was a blast. however i did hit hollywood and yoda. but still. sometimes kids just want to do park. i relate to both side. but if they are having fun, let em, and go have fun yourself instead of worrying about it.

with my anthems i have to lean back so much in pow and my tips still dive. If i had some non center mounted skis i would love to ski pow, so im stuck in the park.

monday at bachy was probably one of the best pow days ever. too bad summit never opened. did they get it open for tuesday?

most of the kids at bachy don't use poles and can't ski out of the park.

that's why they never leave it.

like you said,

more for us.

All the better if there are kids in the park cause they probably have no idea how to ski powder so if they were out there they'd just be trackin the fuck out of it not even gettin gnar... but i think thats been said. jea pow

well it doesnt help that i just switched from snowboarding so i blow at skiing outside of the park. ( i want to learn pow but my tips dive so much it blows)

and mine are symmetrical witch probably makes them worse for pow then yours

how fat are your pow skis aj? i thought those fischers were only like 90-95 or sumthing. that would be hard to ride in bachy pow. at least how it usually is... fuckin heavy.

wow last sunday, the 30th was amazing. It snowed like a foot and a half during the day so it made all the gapers go into the lodge and i lapped red chair all day and never waited in a line. Plus the cone was wind loaded so it was belly button high in some spots, face shots on every turn.

I noticed the same thing too! Some homeboys and I went down to Bend for the last few days and we noticed that it seemed like either everyone in Bend is a Parkrat or are families who ski on the groomers. We were hitting fresh snow on the westside and tree runs all day, and I don't think it snowed since December.

Although, I have to admit, Air-chamber was pretty fun and there's nothing wrong with doing what you think is fun. I just found it strange that so much fresh snow would be untracked, cause I know in Hood that shit gets tracked out by lunchtime each day.

yeah, what ever i don't care that much, just stoked there has been mad snow there too bad i havent been there for month.
