The short backstory is that this guy, now named cosmoduff kept spamming it, and it eventually diffused into every thread. It showed up heavily in the “pick my name” ones.
It’s kind of that idea where if you keep saying something stupid ironically, it later stops being ironic.

It all started when everlast (now known as CosmoDuff) started talking about a porn site called dogfart .com
He started spamming it in every thread, calling people dogfart and such. He wrote private messages to me just talking about dogfart. And then it became a joke.
A lot of people didn't know it was a porn site, or why it became a thing, but it did. I've heard this everlast guy has been in business for years. He's been around newschoolers even before satan. He created humanity. Without him, we wouldn't have pornhub. He is the creator.

I think it started from TRVP Angel doing one of those stupid 'Pick my name' threads and the winner was Dogfart but he didnt change his name so another user decided to dog him on it ever since. So basically it was stupid and not funny from the beginning and is still stupid and not funny. Its also this kind of crap that gets out of hand and is what basically ruined NS when the admins had the nuke it a few years ago. Its funny what people do for attention really.
