You know what NS needs?

I section where you can ask shop techs and industry reps about ski mounting, tuning, drill patterns etc... you ask the people and you get shit on, then they fight amongst themselves. it is ridiculous. Like people asking about where to mount true centre and how to find that point. Which they should leave up to their tech anyways, but I digress. Not only can you not get a straight answer but inevitably someone gets called a stupid noob fag.

anyways... just a thought.

I guess after further thought, sicne ns is going huge soon right?

Why not have the company people post that kinda stuff, like a rossi guy posts all the tech stuff in a rossi folder in a tech cult.

you can go to your shop, but i can guarantee you alot of those guys wont have a clue. Every ski is different, so if you know what the actual measurements are, givin to you by someone at the specific company... you wont have to guess, or get some 13 year olds 'opinion'.

YA KNOW!?

I like it, but maybe less of an open forum and more of a database. Remember back when Jib took some stuff from schmies(sp) and made that epic thread about mounting fujatives that answered a lot of questsions? Do it like that, have reps from companies put up information like that on a board, so people can read it. If somebody has an additional question they should be able to submit it to the people in charge of the board to get an answer.

Most topics relating to equipment can be easily found if you use the searchbar for a minute or two. If your thread does in fact pose a new question, you probably won't be ridiculed for it.

seeing as my shop knows nothing about twin tips, example : I asked for true center mount (true center), and the guy is like OK, come back, they are like 3 back from center

so its nice to have this site to ask on
