oh and I find it funny that people love dylan Ferguson(spelling?)(I love him too) but hate on the inevitable "skiing is aerials" dilemma while Dylan does back to back full in park edits.

also, this is why i think that x games and dew tour should have a rail jam competition. They had one for snowboarding, why not skiing?
 
If you are going to care about what label you are going to be putting on your skiing, you're missing the point of skiing.

you cant even spell retarded. people think free ride is headed towards moguls because technicality is overruling style in judging and therefore getting closer to aerial judging. they dont look anything alike and i dont think anyone here would try and say they did. you are "retarted"
 
People in freestyle skiing is constantly doing new tricks with defferent style and pushing the sport.

Tricks is very hard to judge freestyle skiing, espicially compared to aerials and slalom skiing.

If slopestyle make it to the olympics, they will have to take away many tricks and make rules for what tricks you can do and how.

This has happened to many sports, and it will happen to freestyle skiing to, if it makes it to the olympics. Olympics is where sports go to die, sad to say it, but face it, it's called freestyle skiing for a reason, not rules skiing or whatever lol....

I think that the main point that the OP is missing, is that people don't ACTUALLY think freestyle (as in OUR freestyle involving a pipe, park, etc.) is turning into arials. People have just been commenting that because of the sport's progression lately, which has been involving crazy high spins and triple corks and all other kinds of crazy shit. Shit so crazy, that because it's just the beginning of people doing it, there isn't exactly style involved. Like henshaw/ambuhls triple corks were filthy, but they weren't steezy. Thats why people are saying arials, no one actually believes our two sports are merging.
