this has got to be some of the stupidest shit i've ever seen. this grown adult sees some dumb kid right at the end of the rail, blasting in at mach 5, barely says "move" (how the hell is a kid supposed to react to that?) and is maybe an inch from decapitating the kid. so insanely irresponsible and completely avoidable on his part. it really disgusts me that everyone is blaming the kid, he literally did nothing. honestly should have his pass pulled, again he saw the kid well before he hit the rail.

sure the kid shouldn't have been standing there, i guess, but that is the same thing as saying "well that guy shouldn't have been standing in the middle of the road", after running him over with your car, even though you saw him from 5 blocks away.

if that was my kid i would have beat the shit out of that prick. someone want to back me up on this? i haven't seen one comment calling out this guy, i had to say something because this is fucked.

The root of the issue is these parents aren’t teaching their kids proper etiquette anymore, ESPECIALLY in the terrain park. That kid can’t know if he wasn’t taught, and he should have been. Ofc he should be allowed to ski thru the park to check it out!! It’s inspiring to see ppl doing cool tricks as a kid, but these parents are such a joke.

Solution: Bring the park pass back. A quick and easy test that outlines the proper safety, rules, and overall etiquette that makes park skiing possible.

Yea that dude can get wrecked. Sucks when people get in the way, but better to just let them know nicely it;s not a good place to stand and move on. No need to do something that could seriously injure the kid. I know it's extremely unlikely, but freak accidents happen and imagine accidentally killing a kid because you want an instagram clip.

Rail skier definitely in the fault. It's clear that kid was either already standing there or maybe he was clearly skiing right toward the landing right before stopping there. Either way, the rail skier should've seen that and just held off on hitting the rail.

Also why tf would you put that in your edit. Sure it sorta looked cool cus it was a good dodge but it just makes it clear you're an idiot

I agree with this but a lot of people, understandably, are against it because it takes a bunch more time to get whenever you go to a new mountain. They totally can make a universal park pass, though, that proves you leaned the stuff at some point and can bring it to each mountain. Could be a physical card or just an app

Yeah for real, idk how young that kid is but probably young enough to have very little spatial awareness so you can't even blame him imo. Adults should know better but we should cut young kids some slack. I'm all for having younger kids riding in the park but they need some sort of supervision, whether that's a parent, coach, older brother, whatever.

Also incredibly dumb that the guy didn't just skip the rail, cuz he clearly saw the kid, and he should've talked to him about being park awareness.

Kids got terrible style lol keep the arms down

he skis like a 10 year old kid. Not sure how to explain it but he’s got the same style as a young kid. I did not even realize he was a grown man till looking further into his profile

Yeah feels like he‘s missing the fundamentals. Never hit a slope and jumped straight in to the park

Incredibly irresponsible of the skier on the rail. The kid at the end could have gotten seriously hurt, that could have been such a bad lawsuit, and it’s all on film.

I get it’s frustrating but he can always wait or talk to the kid and inform him that he needs to move.

He trying to go viral. Like that cork 7 clip from recently.

Sick skiing, but I cant stand this kind of stuff. Last week someone got worked on the 2nd jump at PC. I saw someone close off the jump from the knuckle by holding up a huge x with there hand/poles. There were still 4-5 people that hit that jump. What up with that.

Yeah that is unacceptable that the skier still hit the rail. It’s not like the kid was in a blind landing and not visible, he was right there. Instead of tapping the kid, skip your rail for one lap, and yell at the kid and parents instead of endangering the kid

Classic Three Kings vibes here. Someones down-and-out on the landing but "I need to get clips".

Or you could just not yell at the kid either and realize he's just a kid learning how to ski? Crazy thought, I know.

Fine, I suppose I don't need to yell at the kid, but I would respectfully educate in a loud voice

Educate respectfully because one day you're gonna have a shithead kid of your own.
