Yobeat seems a little cranky

"You know what we don't do enough around here anymore? Make fun of skiers. And what better to inspire us than this super amazing project by some random people that we're pretty sure you've never heard of... They're making a movie where they go off the social media grid, all the while being filmed with a RED camera."

this really gets me, not many things get me this riled up but wow, what morons. i left a comment on there saying yo beat is gay and for them to search up crazy karl

Until this post I've never even hear of Yobeat. I clicked the link, read the comments, and now I understand why i've never heard of it. Literally 90% of the comments were fucking hate on the site. People went to the site to say "Fuck you guys".

They're clearly doing it right.

Video content is about all they got, this article was written by women who runs the site (equivalent to doug) and it shows the true colors of yobeat, which is childish trolling.

Brooke yeah. But idk. They def have a fair share of words on there too. And the slogan is "Making fun of snowboarding since 1997."

Snowboarding was the cool winter sport for the longest time, so it just makes sense to me that sites like SnowboarderMag and Transworld Snowboarding are much bigger than YoBeat. I feel like YoBeat targets certain kinds of snowboarders.

Exactly. As a snowboarder, you just need to take Yobeat for what it is, which is usually just satire. Ignore the comments. Just watch their videos. Understand most of the stuff is a joke.
 
Yobeat does have a much more extensive apparel line than NS though.
