Yo! Tech/mount question

Just brought my Reno Jibs (mounted with jesters) my Donner Parties (un mounted, never mounted) and a box of old FKS 180's. What I'm doing (because you cant buy I wider break for FKS 180's) is putting the jesters on the Donner Parties, and putting the FKS's in the same holes that were on my Reno Jibs, at center (because I dont want to move them) My Reno's are trashed and will probably last me for like 20 more hill days. Im filling the holes and redrilling them and mouting the FKS's back into the holes.
Will this work/hold for 20 days? or am I ignorant and retarded.
 
won't work. hole pattern isnt the same, so you can't reuse the same holes. the hole patterns may not interfere, and if they are trashed, it doesn't really matter if you have another set of holes anyway.
 
Thanks man, I wasn't sure of the hole pattern so thats good news. So it should all run smoothly with new holes drilled and the old ones filled?
 
The heel-piece shouldn't be a problem at all...the toe piece might be a bit tight, it depends. A shop tech will be able to tell you if they'll work. The problem is you don't want the holes from the old mount to be to close to the new mount, so the heel-piece is good cause the holes from the Jesters are far apart vertically (like the front two holes are far away from the back two holes) and all 4 of the FKS holes are close together, but the toe-piece is tricker cause both have fairly tight mounting patterns, so it depends on the position.
 
There needs to be 1cm between the old holes and new ones, they might have to put u back a 1/2cm, but that is worst case scenario
