YO newschoolers, i'm making a pvc rail

sink long screws in a pvc pipe so they are sunk in a little. then cover em w/ some epoxy.
 
drill a big hole through the top of the PVC, (like 1/2") then drop the screw inside and screw it into the wood only going through the bottom part of the pipe.
 
its called toe nailing, uh kinda hard to explain but put them toghether and put a nail or screw diaganol into through one into the other both ways twice
 
Okay this is what you do.....

Take a larger drill bit then the head of the screw.

Boar out the top side only.

Then with a smaller screw sized bit boar out the hole you want to put your screw in so it won't split the pvc.

it will allow your screw head to be tapered inside the pvc so it will never catch.

then how could you not know how to build a pvc rail or at least find out where on NS to get information to build one? sorry that was uncalled for.

But really, go to Build a jib cult, there are tons upon tons of threads on different rails people have built.

yea just drill a hole in the pvc and then put a screw through it so that it sinks down past the level of the pvc. then maybe file the hole down so you dont catch an edge, but filling it in isnt necessary

Interesting enough we certainly just found a flaw with the karma system thats for sure.

I thought about my post, felt bad about it and then decided to leave it and then post the information he was looking for along with pictures and he responded with a FU? yeah his karma rating is waaay to high. rate that number waaaay down.

and we found that the karma system works really well too, because of this thread, a lot of other members have rated his posts down and it had a very dramatic affect on his overall score in the matter of a few hours.

BTW he messaged me and said he created this thread as a joke. Apparently, I didn't see the joke nor did anyone else. Ain't Karma a bitch?! I guess I'll leave the thread up as an example to others. Another mod can delete this thread if they feel I am being harsh.

Im the only one who replied to it and I wasnt heated by any means I just think its stupid that people think karma is actually important. And then its also incredibly sad when a mod falls for a joke topic.
