ever had anyone make u feel like a piece of shit for riding a board.. This site is so shwag cuz it makes u feel like skiing is super cool cuz all u see is ski pics and vids and talk and we dont have a turbo ill site like newschoolers for snowboarding which is mega beat but yeah snowboarding is amazing its like a life style but some fools just dont get it

like my girl friends dad they are like ur typical ski family shes cool cuz shes awsome and her brother is cool he free skis at least but the rest are typical high nosed too good skiers who always romp on me and they have a cabin and shit so i go with her and every fuckin week end her dad is in my ear about how skiing is better and shit but whatever thats why its cool cuz pussys like him dont like it

any one else ever catch alot of hate for riding a board...?
 
i noramlly only find a few haters around but its not skiers its normally old people in general. but i normally ride at places with a lot of snowboarders so i dont know.

and there will always be haters bro. this cult wasnt really made to escape the haters, it was to have someplace on ns, a pretty active website, to talk about snowboard stuff because theres not much of anything on ns outside of here.

 
Straight up, Im switching to skiing. Not because it's cooler, not because it's more mainstream than before, or any of that bullshit. Im just fucking stoked on where they are and what they're doing. Mad progression, and it's wicked fun. Im not saying Im giving up snowboarding, but I will definitely be skiing this season more than snowboarding. I never thought I would utter those words, but here I am.

Honestly, I fucking hate those types of people. The richass ski families who talk shit on snowboarders, or even people who arent as good as them or anything. But hey, you get to stay in a dope shred cabin with your girl, pretty bomb.
 
one of my girl friends got punched in the face by some skier dad because she accidentally ran over his 5 year old daughters skis.

resort security got him though. what a butthole.
 
i dont get why all of a sudden skiers are going through "progression" its fucking skiing...snowboarding is the progressing one. i mean i understand that freestyle is getting bigger but gimme a break with the whole "were underground" shit
 
honestly... who the fuck cares. assholes are assholes whether they put on a snowboard, skis, snowblades, snowbikes, dayglo, starter jackets, puffy downs, xxxxxl jerseys... whatever. if youre a dickhead, its gonna transcend everything you do.
 
ya it doesn't matter weather u ride on 2 pieces of fiberglass or 1. Both skiers and snowboarders can be assholes, but most aren't. I just think the whole "i hate all skiers" or "i hate all snowboarders" is bullshit.
 
yeah, I get harrassed for skiing too. I started out on the mountain boarding, and I have a bunch of snowboarding buddies I see on the hill, and now everyone's like, "You're skiing?!?"

I need to find a ski crew or something, like a support group. haha
