haha i had a fucked up idea when i was watching stuff on the history channel. what if the holy grail was a horcrux made by jesus. haha i know it impossible but harry potter gets me thinking sometimes. anyway, i was thinking, you know how dumbledores voice changes when he was drinking the potion, i think that he is saying what Regulus Black was saying when voldemort tortured him. its possible. And im thinking that harry is a horcrux himself, because voldemort needed to make a final horcrux, and what better an item than the boy who was prophesied to take him down? just think, he murdered harrys parents, two of the most powerful wizards around, and he used this to split his soul and put it into harry. i think harry will have to kill himself to kill voldemort because he is a horcrux. only one thing tho, voldemort's sould has to be destroyed last, so if harry was a horcrux, killing himself would be pointless, cuz then voldemort would still be alive.

I still read them because it's just what I do... I've been reading them since the first one came out and I was like 10 or something. Now I'm 19 but I still enjoy them.

My theory is that Snape is still a good guy... he's a good legilimens/occlumens/whatever so nobody really knows, but Dumbledore might have had some plan that involved sacrificing himself. The fact that he's a bad guy is too obvious. Dumbledore totally knew what was going on- if he didn't want to die he would have totally ruined their shit because he's a badass.

And hopefully that douchebag will get over his spiderman complex in the next one, too...

i respect snape a lot more since he turned out to be so powerful.. and how the hell is harry potter going to beat voldemort? hes so weak. i think the next book is going to span more than jsut one year.

i definitely agree. i actually found this book kind of disappointing. dont get me wrong, compared to normally books it was really good, but compared to the other harry potters it was a let down.

 
ahhh i loved it, i just finished it a few hours ago. the endings though, they kill me. i cant wait for the next one.

wait, now there is an idea... snape had to kill dumbledore because of the unbreakable vow, and if snape died, then they wouldn't know whats going on anymore... and dumbledore knew he would die from the potion... as for the RAB dude, yeah, regulus most likely, and what dumbledore was saying could have been what regulus said when he was tortured.... daaaaaang, too many theories........ thanks guys, now i won't sleep even after i get over my jet lag.

I think Dumbledore is gonna come back in book 7 just like Gandalf in LOTR. Dumbledore is then going to be called Dumbledore Gandalf's brother the Great White Wizard. and then Gandalf and Dumbledore are gonna beat down Voldemort and Harry is going to run into the hills to destroy the ring with Frodo...

Oh crap I'm getting LOTR and HP all mixed up! Oh well I like my Theory...

Im def predicting that dumbledore will be back, no doubt about that and im also guessin that harry is a horocrux. The prophecy said they both can coexist because harry would constantly keep voldermort alive because he is a horocrux. that is probably the spell voldermort performed on harry the night his parents died and im guessin voldermort took too much of his soul out of him and dissapeared.

^^impossible dude, if that was true, voldemort would never die. If harry was a horcrux, he would have to destroy himself because the only way you can totally kill him is if you do it after youhave destroyed each horcrux. No one will be able to kill Him but Harry, and thats impossible to do when dead.

yeah, listen to delphi. harry can NOT be a horcrux (sp) because they are inatimate objects. it does make sense that voldemort, after killing the one he chose based on the prophecy, would have made a new horcrux to commemorate the moment, using the murder of harry. BUT, harry can not be a horcrux.

I just read all those books and they are awesomeand I agree with RAB. I think that the locket that was mentioned at Grimmauld Place in book 5 was a horcrux (slytherins locket-it was described the same I checked). Plus I think that one theif dude stole it and sold it not knowing what it was.

BUT!!!

What did Voldemort leave on Harry? The scar? Scars are inanimate (dead, in this case) flesh.

More proof but doesn't the scar always hurt when Voldemort is planning something/doing something bad/etc? eh? eh? That seems to point to an intrinsic connection with V's soul, which would be in a Horcrux.

Oh, and Harry is definitely going to die in the next one. That or Neville
 
im guessing Harry will stay away from Hogwarts at first, but towards the end go to Hogwarts, and do his final fight or whatever that he always does at the end of each book at Hogwarts
