Huge at our school, I like going to places in the middle of nowhere and posting stuff though. I posted in the middle of nowhere Keweenaw Peninsula in Michigan and over a few months it got 5 upboats from mystery yakkers.

the school sent out an email talking about disruptive behavior having to do with yik yak. Apparently someone posted telling people to cough everytime the professor said "mitochondria"

everyone coughed.

I tried and it got deleted within minutes. My guess is since Yik Yak likes anonymity, they see the name "Chad" and assume it is a personal Yak
