Yet another skate edit

i remember there being a skate edit thread but i couldnt find it.while in italy, this last year i got into filming and filmed my friend alot. these are some of the better street shots and shots on urban style features plus a couple non dslr shots he asked me to throw in.

hope you enjoy feel free to criticize i know the editing kind of sucks but this was my first time editing with premiere pro 7

Pretty good. Work on the sound so that the windy shots dont make the edit suck. You did a good job of capturing what its like to skate in italy though.
 
If thats the case i would honestly just mute it. You can barely hear the skating. Good job otherwise though. Not trying to rag.
 
haha yeah for a while he was like "fuck grip tape it ruins my shoes." he gave up after a while tho because it forever to get shots
 
i think the one i was refering to was like "post your skate edits" in m&a.also ^^ ?? dat the in the tranny?? what does that mean?
 
That was sick that boneless 3 was huge at the start. Nice work on the stabilization too, it was smooth and almost added to the effects, I dig that.

Does he skate much rails or just didn't get much footage?
 
thanks dude that was the third time we filmed that shot; he broke 2 boards before stomping it.he doesnt do much rails, he's really good at gaps and vert. i have some more rail shots but they're pretty mediocre.yeah i also felt that the warp stabilizer added to the vibe.

watch out for a vert edit of him dropping haha. he goes seriously ham in the pipe

 
Yeah I figured, those airs were rad though, like that one with the tiny run-up but it was like an 8 set or bigger and he still cleared.
 
i would say keep the gap shots all together and the follow cam shots together and the park shots together ya feels?

also turn off your auto focus if you can it killed that boneless three shot for me (banger tho)

why was he skating in tighty whities?
