Yet another, Please critique my edit!

defintley one of the sicker edits on here, the rail tricks on the battleship box/rail were prestine. Only one thing. A couple of the shots early in the edit were started to early, there was to much extra time on those.Looked sick as hell though!

Liked all of it, except your use of the GoPro, i think that is what you shot the POV with. I personally don't like the chest mount, it cuts of most of the shot showing only a little of your skis, with a helmet you see alot more of the entire area and has a better look to it. Just my though, otherwise it was sick and that park looks ill.

The only reason I has the gopro shot was because my camera died halfway through this rail session. But yeah, not such a fan of the chest mount unless it's on rails. But thanks man!

I like it man.. Nice happy feel to it, which is always what I enjoy watching in an edit, but the same criticism as the other posts, I don't really like the POV.. It needs to be pointed up a bit further. Overall good edit though. :)

good edit for sure! the filming was definitely very solid
-too many crossfades for my liking-that gopro backflip pov shot was way too long-the colors were pretty good in most shots, but you could do more with them-would have been nice to see a little more filler and establishing shots in the beginning and throughout the edit

What do you mean by filler and establishing shots? I'm just superrrr new to this whole editing thing. And is there anyways to get rid of the ghosting? Because it's not like that in the raw clips

LIke shots of chairlifts, shots of your friends mobbing, etc. Just things to set the mood and make it fun. Watch lots of other edits to get an idea of what I mean, just try not to be cliche with it.
and as for the ghosting, idk. if you're editing on FCP, then just uncheck frame blending when you change speed. if you're not using FCP, then i have no idea
