Yet another Chronic question...

I know there are a million chronic posts out there but i'm having a hard time deciding if i want the chronics or the trouble makers or mabe something totally different. I ski about 30% park - not many rails but boxes yes. most of my skiing is groomers and mougles. I want something that'll carve good on the hard packed snow of New York. help me.

Can't go wrong with either one. Get the cheaper one.

'Duran Duran bought Armada, Armada bought Microsoft, Microsoft bought MSP and AOL, AOL owns Time4 which owns the MountainSportsMedia which owns SKi, Skiing and RIP Freeze... so Armada now owns McDonalds and Coke.

i got a pair of TM's this year for skiing park and rails and stuff, but i was really surprised and pleased at how well they carved and held an edge. really responsive and fun to ski outside the park.

pretty opposite skis really. i own the chronics and they are stiff, great everywhere, and bombproof. a friend owns the tms, and according to him they are flexy, fun, but get destructed fairly quickly.

we have the power to change the evil in the world. stand up and fight the obstacles between reality and your dreams. we can make a difference. all we need to do is stand together, and like a tidal wave splinters a dike, we will destroy what stands in our way

i've ridden the TM and own a pair of Chronics and i would say it depends if you like a ski that is soft or stiff and weather construction duriblitiy matters to you. Both are decent carving skis.

if its a battle of performance outside the park, troublemaker will win, hands down

^ depends on your ridding style. i prefer the Chronic over the TM but its mainly because of how agressive i ski outside of the park and how hard i rip the crud i like a stiffer skis to bust throught.

.:l[Tyler]l:.

my tms busted through crud fine for me and im pretty aggressive. they're both going to be good skis no matter which you decide. obviously im going to like the tm's cause i own a pair, and 1080PLP is going to like the chrons because thats what he owns.

all i can say is i absolutely love the tm's for groomers and bumps, they're such a fun ski. Freeskier mag rated them really really well, they got one of their ski of the year awards.

I don't even ride them for all mt tho thats why i have my moships. i think that they suck outside of the park just like the TM but hey i love huge sweaping GS turns and i need a longer stiffer ski for that anyways.

.:l[Tyler]l:.

dont have them but i heard the edges on the TMs break really quick if you do rails on them. SO if you like rails...

and i dont really wanna know...

so dont tell me anymore

and i really dont wanna hear

about her feet all up in the air

freeskiers ratings are kinda off to most skiers though. i mean they said the chronic is soft - med. flex didnt they

I ski trees and moguls on the chronics, and they are rediculusly stable. I've never skiied the TM's, so I can't say anything about them... they seem like good skis though

V-TOWN Bitches!

chrons are something I haven't ridden, you guys are sayin they're stiffer than tm's ???
