Yet Another Binding Question

Ok well, I really have my mind set on getting the Mojo 15's. the problem is i dont want to dish out $200 + $30 shipping for last year's model when the MSRP is like $280. I can get the Mojo 11's from my local shop for like $150. I need some advice here. I hear its virtually the same binding.

Should I stick with the Mojo 11's or is it worth the extra $80 for the Mojo 15's. I'm like 6'1" and weigh in at 215, so I dont really need the DIN higher than 11.

What should I do?

that ebay link is the one i was looking at. free shipping is nice, problem is i live in Canada :P i need to get some relatives to move to the US lol. The shipping comes out to like $48 because its fuckin FedEx :(

Oh, damn that sucks weiner.

Make friends with somebody at your shop. That's what I did and now I don't pay retail for anything ever. I didn't just make friends to get a good deal, I'm not just a dickhead haha. The guy just started hookin me up.

i'll check some shops in my area and see if they can hook me up.

just a quickie, does anybody kno how much Al's Ski Barn charges for shipping to the Toronto area. just trying to cover all my bases here.

if your local shop caries mojo 11s then they should probly be able to get ahold of some 15's so you dont have to pay for the shipping

the problem is... alot of the shops near me don't carry head for some reason. the ones that do want $300 for the binding. considering i paid $270 for my Public Enemys, i think its too much. methinks i'll stick with eBay. i'll wait a bit and see if any new auctions come up.

again, anybody know roughly what Al's Ski Barn charges to ship to Canada???

Essentially the same as the Tyrolia Mojo 15 - Aero toe and FD heel

I think the new version is called the Peak 15

So that could possibly widen your search a little bit

At 215lbs you would absolutely destroy the Mojo 11 assuming you ride at 9 or 10 (which is quite low for your weight). The Mojo 15's are Ok bindings but some other bindings I would recommend for your weight are:

Rossignol Axial 15 or Look PX15

Salomon STH 16

don't even consider getting a binding with a din of less than 14, with your weight, even if you don't ride at that heigh a din you will brake them. Heavier people need metal.

ive done some DIN calculations and apparently my DIN would be something like 7.5 or 8. thanks for the recommendations tho, i'll check them out

just to follow up, I ordered the Mojo 15's today. They should be here in a week.

thanks for all your help guys
