Yes....

up untill last year i would agree with you, but once you get to know rails, they can be fun.
 
being from pittsburgh where u really only get 4in of snow each storm, but then gets covered with 2 inches of ice and sleet....u start to love rails over jumps anyday. and yet i fell on ice on a rail today, fucking hurt like a fucking mofo. and if that was a jump and i fell on the same spot...i would probably have a shattered hip bone right now.
 
I thought this thread was supposed to be a debate about sliding and grinding...Jumps are better. Too bad I'm an injured fool.
 
since we have no park at my home mountain, it's hard to progress in that area. I've learned to appreciate actual skiing outside of park, rather than being in the air and on metal 50% of the time, rather than skiing on snow.
 
yeh, gotta get skiing back to its roots, the urban stair sets where it all began. lol

but seriously, i fkin love rails when theres no pow to slay.
