Ok so i love this game. it is super fun.
i want to play online with people to add to how awesome the game is but i dont wanna pay the $30.00 for the game.
Any way to get this free?? i just play offline at the moment.

i take it you don't torrent at all. just google "payed minecraft for free" or something like that. or "minecraft payed torrent"
 
Wow. Its a great ass game and notch is super dope. Support him instead of torrenting a game that took a while and a lot of hard work to create.

and guys, you have to log in to play the game, so you need a username and password. can't just torrent it

the guy that has single handedly made this guy is a fucking champion.

he has gained SO much respect in the gaming industry. fuck, half the dudes at EA play this game instead of working on their own games! haha.
 
ive been in servers w/ ppl who didnt buy the game, they're not well received by the community. i was just reading up on markus persson (guy who made it), he makes 100,000 a DAY from sales, with a peak of 350,000$/day.
lego has been working since 1995 to make a game like minecraft, they spent 10 years on lego universe, which was a complete flop. markus persson (minecraft maker) is a nobody who quit his job at an indie company and then decided to make minecraft, thinking it would help to fund his next project. this is an amazing story. not only that but he still lives in the same suburb and does the same stuff he used to
 
Plus that he ripped the idea off Infiniminer completely, then only adding the Survival mode.

Infiniminer guys must be facking sad now. I also think that MC's success formula will become a common thing to see in the market, with the ability to purchase Alpha or beta builds for a smaller price and promise of the full version when finished. It gives the creator paid-for and active testers who will also feel like they're having a hand in building the final game. It's simple yet amazingly done.

yup, downloaded the scripts and am testing it out now. its pretty easy stuff, just need to learn how to connect to it
 
Wow, for the longest time I was seeing minecraft as minesweeper, and I thought that this was some new intense 3d version of minesweeper.
 
Jamie, me thinks you have to pay to host a server, like its not cheap. But anyways the NS Minecraft cult is on a sever and has a "big" town.
