Alright I know, it's the olympics not the x-games... but really? The course the boarders are riding right now is so lame. I feel like if it's the best athletes in the world riding the course, then it should be challenging. Thoughts?

Also I think it's pretty rad that the Americans are wearing Denim pants haha.

i agree that the course was kind of lame. i feel like the course at X-Games looked more challenging. The beginning of this course had so much stuff crammed into the first hundred feet. it looks that way on TV anyway.

Yeah like I could totally be wrong as I am just looking at it from a TV point of view. I'd be interested to hear what the riders have to think about the course.

The olympic course looks a lot slower than the X course, but more technical, the olympic course looked like it was in pretty bad shape too

I was talking to a few of the athletes last night, the course they say is remarkable for they amount of snow at Cypress and it is a challenging interesting course most of them are stoked to ride. However the snow conditions are crap and it is making for a dangerous race, as showed by so many snowboarders falling today including the top seed and the favourite (Chumpy and Nate). The course is amazing for the amount of snow they have though and everyone is pretty stoked about it.

The course is extremely technical, and its not necessarily slower its just that the atheletes need to go slower because of how technically difficult it is. If you watch the riders are constantly speed checking. Also, the snow conditions are shit, if you noticed a lot of people were struggling with the 4th (i think?) berm because of the shitty snow.

I love the course, it offers lots of oppourtunity to pass, unlike some of the courses on the worldcup circuit when whoever gets the holeshot is guranteed to win.

ya but it was sick to see Ramoin get bronze, he came out of nowhere really, La Rue and Vaultier were the favs for france
