Definnitely don't buy it, it sucked big time. The only good segments were T-hall and Steel Spence and a couple other.

I hav eit on my computer. Sure you can have it, it has three good sections: T-Hall, T-Rainville and... well, maybe Rory Bushfield. Don't support MSP, they make good QUALITY films, but the editing, music and the attitude that I've conducted from talk on these forums, and from film industry "heads", they step on the little man.

i dint like that movie that much... the best parts were the lil skits in the high school and that one kickasss jump where it looks like they just kjeep on floating, i think its like the top of the world jump at whistler or somthin like that

What you want to do is to STEAL from the very people you think you are supporting...YOU are slime for even asking to file share on this site. I know many filmers and photogs that pay for the families and lifestyle through the hard work and money they put out to give you a great product...just asking someone to file share on a site frequented by the very filmers u want to steal from is stupid

Yeah, because they really need the help. Yeah fucking right. As far as I'm concerned they can go bankrupt... and anyone who thought Yearbook was a good movie hasn't seen enough ski movies, it LICKED. You watch Abma's seg, you watch Rainville's seg, you go to extras and watch Biollo and Booth, then you turn the DVD player off.

Fuck MSP. Don't buy their movies.

Pirating is illegal and I don't support it, certainly not, say, if you were to borrow a friend's copy and burn a new DVD of it for cheap. That would be wrong, and I don't suggest you do that.

are you mentally retarded, the budget that msp has makes for an amazing video, there shots were just epic, the jump shots from the chopper as well as the backountry was amazing, and i hate big mountain. The soundtrack could have been better at some spots, but it was sick most of the time. It takes alot of planning when picking a decent soundtrack, you cant just pick a song.

If your just mad about the MSP vs. Berman thing, its understandable but you cant honestly target the actual product, and if your going to go about doing that dont tell people that they shouldnt like it, were not talking about the company, just the product.

Personally i thought it was good, and althought some of the segments were lame, there was alot of quality progressive footage and it certainly didnt suck, MSP has a large large budget and you can tell when you watch there film. The intro alone was amazing, it tied the whole movie togeather so well, it had a bit of comedy and just added a nice theme.

Its all personal opinion tho, so do whatever you want, just open your eyes......

Yearbook probably had the most White Trash soundtrack ever; it was flat out horrible. Furthermore, the 180rotation shots were really cool but overall the movie sucked; it dosen't matter how much a company spends if it sucks it sucks.

 
^ man... yearbook had some of the best big mountain stuff, and the shots weren't all that bad. Did you see those shots from the heli on the whitler jump those were sweet. White Trash soundtrack? man your a fuck

 
Those shots from the heli were basically the only good part of the movie. You could count the number of rails in yearbook on one hand. It sucked, they are still in teh 90s. They need to step aside and let the REAL core companies put out GOOD movies.

Just because they have their super high quality cameras doesn't mean they know how to put a movie together. Over half of the songs were ripped from other movies and the editing to put it simply was LAME. The only thought that went into that movie was the skits, maybe if they put some of that thought proccess into how they put the clips together and their editing the movies might be worth purchasing.

Your call for people to pirate this movie just shows how little you know or care about this sport and its supporting industries...

L A M E ... go ahead and spew what you want about how winters did this or that...but the bottom line is that it is HIS choice in how to run his own business...and the fact is that MSP contibutes to skiing the same way any exposure does (which is a GOOD thing)....

so unless you want to take away a great source of income for athletes and a great source of exposure for up and comming skiers...you should change your direction of thought.

 
^thats the point man, winter took money away from the athletes, and kept it for himself, and dont call me out for saying im 100% into park and urbans. marc andre is and always has been one of my favorite pros, and i always recognized his abilities to throw tricks into big mountain lines. no hate tho

Word, couldn't be put better. The shots are great. The editing is mediocre. The movie itself is uninspired, rehashing of old techniques, boring and totally not worth the millions spent on it. That's my opinion: it sucked balls. As for what I think of the company, it goes a fair ways beyond Berman's answering machine.

 
only the producer would hurt from piracy, as the photographers and videographers dont get "commision" or anything from the video, they have a salary that is irrelavant to sales, you failed
