Don't get me wrong, the movie looks good, and Yao's story is probable a good one but it does look quite like a chinese propaganda film to me.

maybe not "chinese propeganda", it is a lot less of some mao communist shit than trying to make an epic feeling movie. I mean how often do you think yao dribbles up and down the great wall.

I think the best part of the trailer is when the rookie has to translate "rookie"

 
No i seriously don't think the film is a "moaistic" communist propaganda film so much as it is a propagandic (not sure if that is a word) attempt to paint China's treatment human rights in a good light for the up coming olympics
