seriously though... 350 billion dollars spent??? that is so fucking stupid! Im sure if you asked any american, they would rather take over 1000$ (which is what every american would get) than have their president choose to kill crazy iraqis far away.
 
We put the Shah into power because he wasn't pro-communist, and during that time period the U.S. was willing to do anything to stop the spread of communism. Look at the Korean and Vietnam war. Also, the taliban support Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda so some could say they had something to do with 9|11, or atleast were part of the problem in afghanistan during the war. They won't nuke us, and I already stated that Kennedy was younger then Obama.

bush wants another blank check for the war in iraq, and demands that he recieves it asap.

the congress puts a funding bill on his desk asap, with all the money that he wants, yet bush will veto this bill.

whos to blame then if the troops do not get the funding they need?

Yes, it includes funding, but requires withdraw! Dumbest thing ever. I never condoned the war, nor thought it was well planned or anything like that, but the problem is there, and that's that. Bush should veto this bill.

It also, I believe, has something that allots $100 million for presidential party conventions. Fucking cool, eh?

 
I listened to that show, and maybe he was a little "incensitive" but he was expressing his point of view. All of you crazy liberals are the ones that are always squaking about 1st amendment and freedom of speech but if a conservative says something you dont like you try to crucify him. sure you might not like some peoples opinions but you should still respect them and let them speak.

And just because he made fun of someone doesnt mean he is an idiot just try listining to a few shows, the entire program, and listen with an open mind. he is not someone just rambling on saying that what he thinks is right because he says so, he actually backs up all of his point and arguments with hard facts. that is more than can be said for most libs in the media.
 
dont kid yourselves, most democrats and republicans want the war. Democrat Senator for California Dianne Fienstien resigned from the Senate's Military Construction Appropriations Subcommittee because she had been giving military contracts to companies that were owned by her husband.
 
maybe the bill sucks because it encompasses federal money for things like peanut storage and like subsidies for spinach farmers... a lot of stuff that has absolutley nothing to do with the war effort. sadly, thats how things have to get done so that voters will think that their congressmen have their interest in mind. The bill sucks more for the sheer amount of pork in it than for any of that other stuff.

I also recently saw an interview with, oh i dont know, some military guy in charge over in iraq, who probably doesnt know quite as much about whats going on in iraq as the mastermind popularity contestants in congress mind you, who said that setting a date is basically the most retarded thing that could be done. more retarded than say, putting your wet pinky finger in a light socket or something like that.

to sum up, congress does what they think is popular, and that will get them re-elected so they can use our money to take pleasure trips on their private jets, then act high and mighty as moral athorities on things like the war.

this particular scenario is an illustration with what is wrong on capitol hill more than a statement with what is wrong with our foreign policy.

and the kid who keeps insisting that the US government is facist... you might want to never speak again.
 
1st, I'm a republican, 2nd, why should I respect somebody who makes fun of somebody with disabilitys? the guy has no moral values at all, therefore he is an idiot.
 
The Taliban never supported Al-Qaeda. They simply "harbored" them so to speak. They didn't even really harbor them, they just didn't want the US coming into Afghanistan and taking over the country, which certainly happened.
