YEAH! US pulling out of Iraq!!

Dems voted on a bill to pull out of Iraq?! /shocked, didn't see that one coming. Just makes my boy Obama more likely to get pres. in 08! and Bush isn't a fascist, asshole.
 
Exactly, and no there are high-up Republicans that disagree with the Iraq war and want troops out, too.

i dono if it is right to leave iraq now, it will be soo fucked.  The country will fall the peices there are too many militant gihads!! lol.  Isn't there a huge naval fleet that was just sent ot the persian gulf too?? wouldn't that suggest a new war withsomeone? iran? 
 
lol, this reminds me of a love triangle I was once in. I was goinig out with one sister(Iraq), and we were having a good time, but her sister(Iran) kept on giving me looks, so, I eventually pulled out, and reinserted.
 
Clinton got impeached for lying under oath, not getting a blowjob. That's why no one wants to testify about the whole attorney scandel under oath. The thing about bush is he changes the law to make what he's doing legal, which is WAY worse than doing anything illegal.
 
lol yea its not worth it because if we stay a little longer everything will be great and iraq will be just like kuwait. uhhh NO. what happened to vietnam will happen, and its the only rational choice, you dont stay in a country where you are getting your ass kicked and where you shouldnt have been to start. bring our military home and put them on the border, and put them at airports and beef up our fucking security, but that wont happen because as dick cheny said a couple days ago(message me if you want the link) if we leave iraq it will be bad for israel, and that is one of the main reasons we are there to began with even the mainstream media never talks about it, basically bush and co wanted to wage a war on terror but all the have done is put our troops in an inwinable situation(vietnam) and they have basically made terrorists and there message stronger then ever. all the kids that are seeing there familes killed in baghdad will grow up to be martyrs. its a lose lose situation, either we stay for years more and start losing vietnam # of troops our we leave and have to fight them off here and they get much stronger in the middle east. there is so much shit wrong with the logic of this fucking war, think about it, terrorists are a small number of violent people, but we sent in a massive presence. we sould have used special forces and air strikes and been SMART about what we attacked. if bush didint have such a fucking hardon in 2003 to send in hundreds of thousands of troops we wouldnt have the bloods of hundreds of thousands of iraqis on our hands. we should have used intelligance and a small force of special forces and taken out these groups one by one.
 
Nice, I mean it's about time but what are we going to do with Iraq now? I mean we go in, destroy everything and when we are trying to rebuild their economy, we pull out? We can't pull out because if we do, the place is going to fracture and split.
 
well thats all nice and dandy ill believe it when i get new orders. as of right now my orders still say al-asid air base, so yea Iraq here i come. looks like im gonna miss next years ski season since im gonna be over there startin in october.
 
The first step in removing a president. It's a congressional vote that needs a wicked majority outcome and then they deal with that.

The reason nobody will impeach Bush is because he'll be out of office long before the impeachment/conviction process would occur/finish.

I agree with pulling out, just because I think the Iraqis deserve whatever fate awaits them after we pull out. They deserved Saddam and they will deserve every other brutal dictator that comes their way after we pull out because those dictators are the only ones who can keep them from fucking around.

Its the truth, plain and simple. Everyone blames the US for the failure in this war. The US is not to blame, its the IRAQIS. If they weren't so stuck in their uncompromising 12th century state of minds this war would have been over two years ago.

Whether you agree with why we invaded Iraq is irrelevant to the fact that since the invasion, the US has done everything in its power to create a better way of life for the Iraqi people. To create a fair government, that was elected fairly and respected human rights as well as the religion of Islam. To build schools so that future Iraqis can be educated and create a better society. To rebuild infrastructure and to build an oil industry, which will benefit the Iraqi economy and people. However, at every possible turn the Iraqis choose to keep fucking it up. They go back to their old feuds and start killing each other in sectarian violence over nothing, and good American soldiers are being caught in the crossfire. Instead of compromising and coming together for a better society for them all, they choose to put their country back into the 12th century society they enjoy so much.

Fuck the Iraqis, we've drained enough money out of American pockets to fund the betterment of an undeserving, worthless people.
 
mmmm... why are you trying to change other people's way of life? because they don't live the american way doesn't mean that they are wrong..let them be stuck in their 12th century if they want to.. of course i would like better conditions, equality for women, and education..etc..but a war is going to accomplish that? mmm..is doubtful...
 
i don't like having our boys over there. i have three really good friends right in the middle of it - one army and two marines, but we really need to keep an eye on iran. they are seriously up to something in that country and it freaks the hell out of me. it sounds as though they are picking at us to start a war. i don't know if we should pull out or not, maybe we should just keep it the same. democrats and republicans alike are being pains in the asses. congress is being a bitch. i so so sick and tired and a bit scared of these socialists which include obama, hilary, and pelosi. you should wipe your own ass and not have the government do it for you, but if you are totally incapable of wiping your own ass then someone should help you with a little bit of money. taking money from the rich? that's their money...not the US's money.

I agree, we shouldn't have gone into Iraq to begin with. What I'm trying to say is the US had only good intentions for the people after the invasion. If their way of life consists of constantly killing each other over what sect they belong to, it is wrong. We weren't trying to necessarily give them the "American way" just a fair way that would improve their lives.

In my opinion, the only way to settle Iraq is to split the country up. Create three nations, Kurdistan in the north (US ally), a shiite nation in the east that includes Baghdad, and a sunni nation in the south and west.
 
Bush is a dumbass. The whole world ends up laughing at the US because of him. If he vetoes this the world will want him dead. I'm from canada, and republican or democrat doesn't matter over here. Bush does.
 
Pulling out so quick is a bad idea. Every kid is so liberal for no reason besides the fact that is cool and trendy to be liberal. I agree we need to get out of there but do you know how dangerous it is to just leave with so much hatred for our contry still dwelling over there? Not only will there who social structure fall back to a tyranical dictator of some sort, but our country will be under much more constant danger of attack. They arnt just going to leave us alone if we leave...if that was even remotely true we would not be in the mess. I agree the way we went about going into Iraq was very Stupid and Ill planned but you cant just wipe way a mistake like that and call a mulligan, because I was not only bushes fault, he was a scapegoat for all of us...even those of us who didnt vote or support him.
 
yah I do, this really does need to be spaced out over a few years. And if we really want to pull them out so fast why dont we NOT publish a pull out date. I mean cant the people were fighting see this type of information too? Thats like seting a date for the "day of a thousand car bombs" Im all for getting troops out of Iraq. I personally hate the military and I think it ruins peoples perspectives and abilities to be themselves...but thats a whole nother topic.
 
American casualties in the global War on Terrorism have exceeded American casualties in the first three years of the Vietnam War - the most brutal war the U.S. has been involved in. I think that slowly pulling out Coalition troops while working on peace treaties with Middle-Eastern leaders is the best way to end this war in a safe way.

I am not a Democrat/Liberal. I am a Republican but I disagree with what is happening in Iraq.

We got Sadaam, we made a few changes.. it's time to wrap it up, Bush.
 
so while we're at it i say we pull out of korea, we've only been there 50 something years...

its not our time to pull out yet, unless you want that place to fall apart, i don't care if it did though.
 
Iraq has already fractured and split, we successfully secure each area we station our troops but as soon as we leave the sunnis and shiites begin killing each other by the dozens. The iraqi military we've been training doesn't do shit to stop the killing (or worse, aids their side in carrying out the sectarian violence.)

Really though, this pullout resolution is more just a political move to show the people that the democratic party is committed towards getting us out of Iraq. Bush is obviously going to veto this and the democrats don't have enough votes to override his veto
 
I bet you we are getting out of Iraq so we can go into Iran. We'll be at war with them within the next year, about when we'll be out of Iraq. Nothing is a coincidence.
 
your dumb. we arent going to pull out of iraq. bush is going to veto the bill. then all the fuckin liberal people are gonna try to pay off more senators, (they just barley paid off enough to pass this bill) and try to over ride the veto but they need a 2/3 vote which they will never get. so we wont.

and we will and should go into iran to.
 
The intresting part of this move will be the aftermath. Not only did the US troops destroy the previous and somewhat stable system and imposed a difficult, half assed planned political system without defence.

So here was the blunt report, US invaded foreing land, killed the leaders (even if they were oppressors) destroyed political stability and introduced a undefendable system due to the lack of population intrest rate. Who payed the most, the people living in Iraq...or the thousands dead people.

The worst poar is that republicans dont realise that there is so much pain and suffering happening in Iraq. US leaders that support the war go home, have a good warm meal, take a shit in the toilet and curl up in bed when the day's over. They will understand the Iraquie people if we take all the luxury items away from them, even the food and water. Now take away their security force. That is how the people living over there.

Now, the US "broke" Iraq, I just want to know how are they going to fix it...WHITHOUT force.

Also, in my first message, I did include fascism and I will keep it like that. Fascism is when an authority has total control over the laws and policies, even if it is agaisnt the will of the poeple. If Bush Vetos the bill, he will be a fascist.
