YEAH SIMON!

chyea simon! dumont still owns the pipe regardless of the results. im never going to think 'oh man i wish i slayed the pipe like jossi or xavier' it will always be 'i wish i slayed the pipe like simon dumont.' his amplitude will always do it for me. the guy charges like no one else. (although kevin rolland's run was outta this world.'

Simon crushed it today stoked to see it on NBC too!!Felt Jossi's run deserved better than fifth too but it was pretty nerve wracking waiting for his score to come in.Congrats to both of them, Dumont is back!!

Simon has a really nice run with awesome flow this year. I hope he brings back the truckdriver 20 feet out again.

Im stoked to see him win in vermont, he had a rough season not placing at X and everything. He starting his road back to the top. Rolland has his work cup out for him next season.

his amplitude has fallen so much the announcers and everyone at home would be stoke for when simon was about to go because he was airing out so much higher then everyone, but for example in x games high air in pipe he didnt even come close to winning and high air is supposed to be his specialty.

pipe went DOWN today! sooooo sick! everyone killed it. and btw who else thought that bryons last sw 7 was soooooo sick.

also when they were showing the slope runs my parents who constantly hate on freeskiing watched twalls opening rails and were like "wow that guy is just soo smooth, i wonder why more people dont have his style." i was like hahahahahahhahaha what? my parents now hopping on t-wall's dick along with all of ns? sickkkk

you can say that but still simon is known for height he didnt even win a comp that was designed or him and then most people say he did bad because he well even though shawn white destroyed his face and still came back to destroy pipe. All i'm saying is i expected more.

I'll try to translate:

"Yea, nobody cared about high air. However, the event was made for Simon to get a gold, so the fact that he didn't win means he wasn't performing as well as normal. Most people think he did poorly because he fell hard in practice. But, Shawn White crashed harder than Simon and still won. So, Simon should have been able to win too."

haha i was watching it on my plane ride back from vail

i cant understand how tucker had a podium. i guess the judges didnt notice he missed half his grabs

I was surprised Dumont even chose to compete at X as that crash was super gnarly so no wonder he wasn't on point!! Tucker should be a major threat in the next couple of years if he gets his grabs locked on and improved his style but I definately think he deserved a podium. Also good to see Dorey killing it again!

Simon Crashed way harder than White. He layed on the ground for 10 minutes and had a head trauma while White stood up after like 30 seconds.

I was much sadder for Olenick when I watched X pipe finals...dude charges super hard for 7 years, only to finally win a medal...in High Air. I wanted to see him put down the run he was trying to put down, he probably would've podiumed with it.

Also, he should try to dial in all the crazy doubles that he learned this summer and then try and bring them to a slopestyle comp...combine those mofos with even just okay rail skills and he's bound to win something.

/my two cents.

your text being translated correctly does not mean that you have a valid point. simon could have easily suffered devastating injuries and he did get a concussion among other things. shaun white escaped a horrible injury too but lucky for him about the only things he sustained were some bruises.

then again it does not necessarily matter whos crash was worse because people differently with that kind of incidents. you could see that simon was holding back at x. and no i am not really a fan of him.

stop hatin on dumont, until you start being better than him and start throwin down massively, you guys can shut up. its good that some people see how good he really is though
