Yeah dude vs. seven sunny days

has seven sunny days started shipping the preorders yet? I preordered, but I still didn't get it, and they didn't shoot any email to keep us informed about that

I have heard either tomorrow, or the third of october we are getting them in.. So they will definitley start shipping shortly. I will post again when I know for sure.

I think both movies are really cool, but different. I would definitley recommend seeing both.

Seven Sunny Days is about 50/50 as far as park and big mountain goes. Jon Olsson, Tj Schiller, and Colby West are pretty sweet additions to the park segments.. Shot in Keystone, Park City, Whistler, and Mt. Hood. Jon helped build and design the whistler jump, which came out pretty similar to the JOI jump. Then the Clip of the Week gives a little example of the mt. hood session (http://msptv.mobilerider.com/flash/player/). They expanded on the heli use in keystone with Sammy Carlson, full runs through the park being followed from above. The Big Mountain is pretty awesome too, new locations with some sled and skin only access. Chris Rubens and James Heim join up with the regular crew for some pretty sick skiing, most notably Eric Hjorliefson. Mike Douglas has some really cool and unique helmet cam shots. Abma and Wilson go on a really cool trip to India. I know people have mixed feelings about it here, but the squirrel suit action is absolutely amazing, adds a whole nother element to it.

To me it had a feel like the ski movie series, but with all the latest cinematography, editing, and style. I would have to watch Yeah Dude again to give a review, but I remembered really liking it as well, get both!!

those follow cams are so solid, its cool to see support from someone that works at another company for another! I'm stoked to see 7 sunny days as well, its deffinately an awesome year for movies and dont think you can go wrong with anything this year, everyone did a sick job!

the only bad thing i found about 7 sunny days was that they should have put the MSP Whistler-Blackcomb jump at the end, because the organ music would have amde a great finally.

I thought the organ music spoiled the segment. Though Seven sunny days is my pick. I have probably watched MDP movie 'picture this' a whole lot more than yeah dude.

i especially like the part in yeah dude when they mention the locale of

Urban Cities. I've never heard of Rural Cities of Urban Countryside

NO ARGUEMENT- buy them both!

I have seen all this year's offerings about a million times each already coz i have no life...

7sd is probably the best all around movie of the year and represents a real return to form from msp in my view. great additions of colby, tj and jon, so the park bits are on point and are filmed beautifully. stand out big mountain charging from hoji, abma, heim and ingrid. and omg, the wingsuit bit is mind blowing.

Yeah Dude doesn't try to compete with msp's style of film. Its really park orientated which i thought would get boring but it doesn't coz theres so much really tech, stylie stuff being thrown down. the best thing about it by far though is the vibe of the movie- the voiceovers i thought were pretty funny and there is a real fun vibe all the way through which is what skiing is about after all.

so yeah, buy em both...

7SD owns yeah dude - infact 7SD is the best MSP movie since focused, and yeah dude really blew in my opinion

seven sunny days was really good minus a few song choices, like the whistler jump section got ruined by the song, but i thought yeah dude really sucked. i doubt i will watch it very much at all. seemed really overedited to me.

I thought seven sunny days owned yeah dude. That was the first MSP I've really loved in years. I thought the filming and editing was so far above everybody else.  (minus the movies I haven't seen)

i thought that ya dude probably had sections with sweeter skiing, but seven sunny days on average is better skiign and has such high quality filming. but idea is awesome too

Yeah Dude was more park/urban orientated, with some pow segments.

Seven Sunny Days was more big mountain orientated, with some park shots (TJ, Colby)

I really liked both, but I think I preferred Yeah Dude on this one. Don't get me wrong, I really liked Seven Sunny Days, but Yeah Dude just had the edge.

they both were good in different areas so i think they kinda balenced eachother with the park focusses yea dude and big mountain focused 7SD's personally if you think watchingh movies before you go out skiing which is wat i do buy both depending on what you want to do that day unless you wanna ski glades all day then buy Believe cause that shit was insane

I have Yeah Dude and its pretty dope but I haven't seen Seven Sunny Days yet but I'm gonna get it soon. And MSP always does a great job so go with which trailer seems more dope.

only seen lost and found and seven sunny days, thought 7 was well shot and had a good mixture, the park segments were sick, but prefere watching big mountain personally, 007 and wingsuit were especially sick, as was kye petersons segment (cant remember whether it was 7 or lost and found)

believe, idea and yeah dude coming at the weekend,

epic movie day sat probably
