ok i have real question now. I was once a snowboarder, but two years ago switched to skiboards (snowblades,skiblades) w/e u wanna call them. i personally like them because i would probably suck on skis cause im used to roller blading and stuff, so i like the short length. now my question is what advantages do regular skis have on skiboards. besides speed, i couldn't think of anything so any of your opinions would help me. i may consider switching over to skis if there are more advantages. and please give me real answers, i've heard enough insults and been made fun of enough for skiboarding so im just looking for some help. (feel free to start another thread talking about how gay and stupid skiboarding is, just please not here)

 
mroe stable and they look better....skis look so much beter when you cross. you can go so much bigger too

you will honestly like skiing twice as much. theyre faster, more stable, look better, you can ski powder and shit so much better, and tons more reasons. seriously just demo a pair or something for a day, you will be hooked

easier in pow, more trick oppertunities(crosses), float in pow, speed, nose/tail presses, easier to land big jumps on, bindings release so you don't get torsional fractures in your legs (this is a big one), can click in easier. Don't have to hassle attaching leashes and shit, look cooler, don't get made fun of by newschoolers

You can float in powder, no shame, more fun, faster speeds, bigger jumps, no deathtrap bindings, More interesting and cool grab combinations. Switch immediately.

I think we about summed it up. The bindings within themselves are a reason to switch. Then you can go big and be able to pop out when you crash. tortional fractures suck

you can carve, ski pow, get alot more air than snowblades allow you, its all better.
