k where im livin in ontario its like 4 degrees and pouring and lately the temps have been from like +5 degrees celcius to +14 or sumtin wit rain...we had a decent dumb of snow at the beggining of the break and now its all melted...jus snowdrifts ...LIKE WTF...global warming and the jetstreams a bitch

I was warned about irregular snow fall in the Stockholm area, but this is just ridiculous: 10 degrees outside and raining... man, big time bummer...

 
we got like a foot at the beginnning of the xmas break like you said, but here in kitchener ontario we have no snow. thsi sucks shit.

Its raining right now in Northern New York too, we've had snow then rain then snow then rain all friggin month so nothing has been able to accumulate

wellI live in Montana which is still on this glove, and its been fuckin freezing for like a week, its not global warming it called an Indian Summer know why it has a name? Its happened before. Just a weather pattern.

Well in Tahoe it's snowed about 100 inches and it won't fucking stop it's not supposed to stop for like 10 days either this it's snowing right now almost down to the valley wtf?

 
i saw on tv if global warming gets to bad and delutes teh oceans salt water and messes up the ocean currents ittl casue somewhat of a new ice age.

what if it's gonna be like the movie 'The day after tomorrow' where it's global warming but then suddenely the whole world get's super heated then the ice melts creating giant ammounts of evap then creates rain! and then TONS OF SNOW!

The effect our pollution has on the earth won't just be a steady increase in heat, which there also is over along period of time. But there will be very sporatic weather all over the globe.

Weather patters are decided by many different factors. The fact that we created artificial pockets of very very hot air around cities, and forced more fresh water into the ocean which decreases salt levels will not only heat the planet, but very drastically shift weather.

Parts of the globe that used to be very cold are warming up, parts that used to be very warm are cooling down, and parts with seasons are finding them less extreme. Our summers used to be very hot with really cold windows with lots of snow. Now we've had a few cold summers with hot winters and rain.

We've fucked the planet up. I don't expect to be skiing in 50 years except for on (or in) man-made environments.

I know it sucks,,, i got good skiing up at dagmar,, before the christmas break,, now some places have been closed for the past 2 days because of stupid weather!!! man it makes me mad,,, this weather is wacked

 
^ i watched that movie during christmas and i was in the carribean. it would not be good to be frozen alive in a helicopter.

and in my city, last thursday, the weather went from +5 to -23 in one night, and its going to continue like this for the rest of the winter like being very warm and then being very cold and so on
