Hi, i was just wondering if a 5 foot drop in would get me enough speed for a rail . Thanks

Depends on what you are hitting and the slope of the ground you are on.

It's all about the tranny.. It has to be super gradual. A 5 foot drop with a nice tranny is better than a 10 foot with a shitty one.

yeah mines 5 with a decently steep tranny and it works just dandy

Depends on the slant or drop in, mine is 5 1/2 feet tall, and it works good

thanks, it'll be pretty steep and the rail will be 15 feet

Are you building a wood drop in or just piling up snow? Since it's winter, make your drop in out of snow. If it's not fast enough, make it bigger and/or spray water on it to ice it down. All this takes it a shovel and spray bottle of water. Make sure to spray tranny and lip too. I build one in my front yard every winter and mine always ends up being about 5 foot tall. Works great.

depends on a lot of things.first i have a 5 foot drop and a 10ish. the5 is for a 12 foot flat box. its also a drop into a pretty good hill. make sure you have enough speed. i mean its easier to build up then to take down
