hahahahahahaha, look at the yankees this season, you think the redsox have been injury plagued...everyone bitches about the yankees payroll, its not like the redsox are a poor organization, they still dish out quite a bit of money for their players, so that excuse is pretty irrelevant.

just so you know, im not a yankee fan, i am a twins fan and i also root for the teams based on defense. thats what good baseball is all about, and neither the redsox or yankees play good defense.

bottom line is that the red sox are not going to make the playoffs this year, they will end up second in their division again and the the wild card will come out of the central, not the east
 
normally i'm all for the sox, except this year, being from michigan, i'm rooting for the tigers, just beacuse they havent been realy good for a while

i meant to say play defense to win their games, and thats not what the red sox are about. just look at fucking beckett, 13-8 with an era over 5...the red sox dont win games with their defense...they win with their bats. and thats not what i like in a baseball team. red sox are one of the worst pitching teams in the league and thats another reason that they will not be able to make it to the playoffs
 
i agree they wont make it to the playoffs because of their pitching but every other facet of their team lives up to the hype
 
hehe. watching the 7th inning last night made me happy. come to think of it, so did watching game 1 yesterday and this evening's game as well. and i'm driving to boston (from ny) tomorrow for the game. it's the sickness!!
