Y’all wear lange rx boots ?

Genuine question wether you’ve riden them outside racing like in the park or POW stash riding or just as an all season all round boot.

pretty sure corey jackson was in a pair for a while so if you have any doubts of their capabilities just take a look at some of his clips

My feet are just a bit too wide for the RX but I ride the LX series and am a huge fan. They are very light and Lange's plastic is the best in the industry in my opinion (from all their years developing race boots) which gives these boots one of the best feeling flexes I've ever experienced (I rode full tilts for ~10 years before getting fitted into my LX 130s). If a boot fitter put you in them I would totally go for them.

Does anyone feel that 4 buckles restrict their movement? I learned to ski & ride park completely in a full tilt & tried a day or two on a Dabello Il Moro and even those felt funky. Everytime I've clipped into a ski in a four buckle boot it felt so foreign. Like limited flex and control. However, maybe it's just me, or was the boot stiffness. I just felt so upright, with minumal forward lean. Not so much that the boot didn't fit my foot, but the flex didn't feel good & forward lean felt non existant.

Every boot is different, but I've tested some Debello 4 piece boots & Head raptors. I havn't liked anything I've tried so far.

This summer I picked up some Dabello Lupos 120 (3 piece boot) and love they way they fit/feel. I kind of want to add a little bit more forward lean, but otherwise I think they're going to work great.

I've always felt that 4 buckle boots lock my heel back into the pocket alot better than 3 buckle. Clamping down the middle buckle always left me with heel lift. Probs because low instep. The overlap on the shell with the typical two piece boot construction and 4 buckles just feels so much more secure imo

Yeah I felt that for a really long time until I did the foam wraps.

I ordered two of those foam sheets and cut them into custom butterfly wraps and fit that around the outside of my liner on the heel and it worked like a charm. I haven't had much of any issues since then. I had to eventually get a new liner after some years, and have replaced the foam every two seasons bc it does eventually pack out, but was def. the way to go.

I will be skiing in a RX until the day I go skiing for the for the last time ever.

Also it's funny that the first thing you mentioned was racing when the RX is not a race boot and the RS exists

Used to rock an rs140 everywhere including park and it was great. I just get whatever the bootfitter recommends

For park, jumps more mobility would you prefer less stiff boots?

I modified my Dalbello Il Moros to be like 140 flex. I like the ski to bend more than the boot. I can't stand soft boots but everyone has different preferences.
