Hey, how much does one of these rack systems cost? I have a honda civic with no rack system, nothing at all. How much does it cost to have just the mount for the bars installed?

go to yakima.com and you can put together a set up there and it will give you a price. Thule has the same thing. Good shit, try it out.

You can also put the skis inside the car. Crazy idea, I know, but it just might work. Cost of equiment and installation $0.00

Uh that's actually what I do too. It works quite well, assuming that you don't have to carry too many people. Racks are nice to have, but make sure you get a cartop box or bag your shit. Road grime and salt are horrible for your bindings and edges.

Yakima is great. For the one that carries 4 pairs of skis I think it is about 350 for everything racks, towers, and bars.

they are worth it... so super versitile... i use mine a lot in the summer when goin to the cottage or moving shit around SO much stuff fits in it... and its great casue i can leave my skis safe and locked during the week or day when im out running around.

My buddies use thiers to go camping.. more uses then just skis

I do whatever my rice crispies tell me too.

yakima is great. i have used mine year round for 9 years and it still works well. skis all winter and MTB all summer

just look at what you need, and then look up on ebay. you will save A LOT! and i really suggest a box, its crazy how your skis and bindings mostly, will be fucked up if you dont get a sunny day driving.

Drink 1 BASE a day, Keep the doctor away.
