I can't even begin to fathom those pillow lines. Cork 7 tail pillow smash to three out into more pillows..... How on earth
 
Sammys pillows were insane, but parkers closer is one of the best shots ever, and the b flip he does mid highspeed line was bonkers.
 
Sammy's was nuts, having to stop myself watching on loop because they must be bangers from his movie and I want that to be a surprise. He is heading towards that 'all time greatest level' along with Candide and a couple others.

Honestly I bet half are B roll if not more.

Switch right 9 was from last year, I bet everything from hood spring was B footy other than the dub 9 on the stepdown, And probably 2 of those pillow shots werent his best, which is pretty insane.
 
Sammy's edit was nuts. Crazy to see if his 2 year project has different shots. If so he is putting in some serious work.
 
Sammy's was insane. I ran across that jump high up on hood my first time climbing it and couldn't believe how big it was in person.

He took JJs up to Revy with him last winter, and rode E Dollos during B & E Invite... he's been unofficially rocking them for awhile now.
 
Thought Sammy had the best content and Pettit had the best edit. So my vote goes Sammy, Pettit, Parker.

For the record though, I think Richard Permin would have a good chance to win if he submitted because it would be two full minutes of gnarly fucking cliff hucks.
 
Sammy C's was my favorite, and his from last year is still one of my favorite edits ever. He's got such a sick charging style, reminds me a lot of how T-hall rides pillow lines. Can't wait to see other TGR footy from last year

I bet there'll be a ton of crazy stuff in the Sammy C project that couldn't have gone into Real Ski (like the ski jump from the Sammy C trailer), but the cash out from Real Ski is too good to save the best stuff for just his project. I've heard that Real Ski winnings is up on the scale of like $40,000 or $50,000. It wouldn't make sense to not put the best of the best into Real Ski if there's that much to win.
 
I feel like shot could vary depending on how it's judged. If they just want tricks in the backcountry Sammy is an obvious winner but if cliffs and overall skiing contribute I think Pwhite or Pettit could each get first.

This. It's gunna be a tough year for judges especially if they are as open in scoring as the skiers were with terrain.

Sammy and his pillow poppin pose is incomparable. That being said..

Petit and P White did more big mountain riding which is a different ball game.

Also lets give it up for CLo and Schuster!

My vote goes to Chris Logan, his hometown is on Long Island... Being a New Yorker, I know the struggle of traveling a good 5+ hours to get any decent pow. Props to him.
 
Goddamnmnmn Sammy is a monster those pillow lines intersected with stylish tricks were unreal. The man is unbeatable. Petits was too toned down wasn't even good as expected.
 
p white all the way. such sick style in the backcountry, and his edit had the best vibe out of all of them imo. Pettit and Joe's had sick skiing and filming, but i just didn't like the vibe at all. Chris logan was awesome, big picture is the best. Sammy C's edit was nuts too, some of those tricks in the pillows, wow. But p white takes the cake for me. Best vibe and style outa all of them
 
It's hard to choose between them, all had sick stuff. Although imo, watching Petit's entry I felt like I needed to be closer to the shot, I guess I wasn't feelin' the heli perspective this time.
 
Anyone who puts any of the other submissions ahead of Sammy's is just being a fucking hipster. Have watched Sammy's 10 times, struggled to even finish the other ones.
 
So Sammy had a sick edit no doubt, lots of bangers and technical stuff. But did anyone else not like the edit? I didn't. Haha it felt too fast paced and stuff and just not put together well. Regardless darn good skiing and he'll win. Sammy is a boss
 
Parkers zero spin was legendary and the switch 10 blunt was facking massive. Sammy is straight up a wild man though so I'm guessing he will take it.
 
Sammy will 3 peat no doubt...the one thing about sammy is that his jump tricks all look very similar, but thats nothing new, he's always been like that...Parker should get 2nd, and Pettit will probably get 3rd

That one is large! I found the one higher up, on that final ridge that sort of separates the old climber's route from the Pearly gates, and it was massive, I sort of tiny aired off the edge of it on my way down my first time up there, can't imagine hitting it with speed though
 
pwhite fosho, that tree tap was just ridiculous. also anyone know what he did on the first shot? im thinking backflip but i cant tell because my internet doesn't work well with the xgames player.

In the edit it looks like maybe 3 different jumps on Mt. Hood. The one in my picture is on the down hill side of Illumination saddle. For the run in he jumped from a kicker higher up and then hit this one in sequence. This is at about 1:20 to 1:30 in the edit. I had a really hard time wrapping my brain around it when I saw the set up and it is pretty mind blowing to watch the footage.
