OK, go watch the espn footage from the gold and silver runs and once again youll see xgames are being judged badly this year.

Hot damn. I was just making EXACT this thread and went to check to make sure someone hadn't made it yet.

I give Gold to Wiig. No doubt. I just liked his run and flow better. Better tech stuff on the rails uptop...It's because he did a cab5 instead of a 9. Screw that.

I liked how you said his 1080s and 9s were hucked even though they where spun very clean and he held the grab for a long period of the spin. And call Wiig's 1080 the cleanest of the day when he didn't even get the whole rotation around... I'll be the first to call it, you're an idiot.
 
Yeah I agree man! Wiig's run is much smoother and stomped, plus better tricks on rails. Gold to Wiig for sure (my opinion)
 
I don't really agree, yes he had a better rail section but everything White did was stomped and they were smooth. Wiggs 1080 on the bottom he didn't get it all the way, he landed at like 990 and then spun the rest of the way on the snow. and he came up a litte short on the x box thing, I dunno I personally like whites run
 
as much as i dont like shaun, it was pretty obvious that he won the second he put that run together. a cab 10 into a 9, into two more 10s, with good rail tricks. plus his spins were very clean, anyone who disagrees is just bsin. however, my fav. run of the day was D kass, cause hes sick. switch backside rodeo. that was sick as shit too.
 
worddd, NONE of shaun's spins where hucked, they looked great and he stuck every one of them perfect, no hand drag, no wash out, no revert, nothing, it was clean as shit. he wins
 
Shaun only won because the name Shaun White, its bullshit really, its hard for other great snowboarders to make a name for themselves against this kid. (not saying Shaun isnt good)
 
Oh, they were hucked alright. But Wiig's 10 at the bottom wasn't landed cleanly so he lost. Simple as that.
 
you are dumb if you think shuan should have been nething other than first. to say that he hucked the 10 is just retarded especially when wiig barely got that extra 180 in on his only 1080 not 3... and i am pretty sure that he came off 270 on the sec rail. no ones' run was even close
 
White didn't throw three 1080s, it was a backside 9, cab 10, switch backside 9, frontside 10. He spun all four ways and none of them were hucked. Wiig's final 1080 was cleaner than any of White's but overall the right man won.
 
haha are you serious shaun white deserved that definately. haha then his last run he jsut chilled around and droppd the illest cork 3 off that last hit. dont get me wrong adreas was dope but shaun white def deserved gold.
 
shaun def. hucked, but he was consistant in pulling them off.

i'd say hucked is more last hit u go for a 1080 and it's sketch, that's hucked
 
shaun did 3 1080's, and his run was pretty clean the whole way. i was amused that the girls were doing regular boardslides, sketchy 5's with no grabs, and that was the winning run
 
Kass's run was fuckin dooope.

to bad he fell off the early on the second rail.
 
haha, i just watched that run and have to agree that it was pathetic. seriously, a 3 off the last booter to seal the winning run? i'm sorry, but if that was supposed to represent the best women's snowboarding slopestyle right now, then the sport doesn't have much going for it.

on the other hand, Kelly Clark ripped some serious pipe!
 
i think shaun deserved to win. it's a lot harder to consecutively throw big spins one after another than to thrown one 10 at the end of the run, consistency fools. although i do agree that the xgames are really damn biased it's alllllll about shaun white to them. they should call it the shaunwhitegames. and yeah danny kass' run was sick too, i want to make babies with danny kass.
 
pretty much yeah, wiigs run wasnt anywhere close, and why does everybody hate "hucks" , shaun white needed alot of rotation because the jumps werent that big and he grabs way far out for the entire rotation instead of like the other boarders who grab for a little bit and then tuck there hands to their chest like a faggot to squeeze in the rest of their rotation. shaun white has talent on the level of pele or mj, if you diss him your pretty much a fag
 
You're wrong. Backside 9, cab 10, switch backside 9, frontside 10. Strange that the announcers called it wrong.
 
I just watched Viig's run back, the judges called it wrong too. It was a cab 9, BS 7, FS 7, FS 10 on his kickers, and his 1080 wasn't even that clean. White spun bigger and with nicer style in my opinion (except Wiig's BS 7), and Wiig only just beat him on the rails. The right man won for sure.
 
ya yaaa so shaun white's run was 'harder' andreas rode with more power and control and if i had to pick which one i liked better i'd definatly go with Wigg
 
shaun definetly shoulda have won. he is an unstoppable hucking and jibbing machine. and it is undoubtadly two 10s and two 9s, spinning all four ways, all stomped to hell. also, his winning run wasn't the one with the sick ass 3 at the end.
 
His 1080s wernt that hucked, he had a nice grab, and he stomped the fuck outa each one, no hand drags, not flails, just grabs and spins. And 3 of them in a row, and they were all different?!? yeah he deserved it.
 
His 10s were cleaner. In light of the judgin today in the Big Air comp, why in god's sweet fucking name would anyone think that anything but technicality would win a comp at the X Games this year? If your not throwing a 10 (or back to back 10s in this case) with a tail grab and stomping the fuck out of it (i.e. no hand touch, no wash out) you're not gonna win.

Wake the fuck up. The X Games judging has nothing to do with style, especially this year.

If that weren't the case, Pep would have won.
 
maybe you should watch the video. for the gap jump (the third jump) he comes in switch (right footforward) and lands regual (left foot forward). That would be a 900.
