Xgames knuckle huck is small big air.

So i was watching xgames knuckle huck and the knuckle was shaped like a small kicker not how it should be as a flat knuckle.

what is your opinion ?
 
At this point, it seems like a filler event that could be replaced by something more interesting, like a legit rail jam.

i say we keep big air and then the other event is bigger air. same landing but the takeoff is 70 feet uphill of the big air lip. separate the men from the boys

i know i liked that. so gnarly. i always wish there was a one-hit pipe section in the slope course. file that in our large folder of halfbaked X games ideas

QP at the bottom and the only way to get points is from amplitude, trick doesnt matter.

Honestly I CANNOT BELIEVE you're advocating for athletes to participate in such an unsafe event like QP or halfpipe high air. We've lost too many good athletes to halfpipe so its sickening to hear you're wanting to dangle prize money in their faces to force them in a dangerous situation just for your entertainment. Wow.

honestly not a bad idea to have some sort of weird low comp where people have to actually slide on the ground or some gates that have a top to them that you have to ski and trick under.

The other day saw a guy in the rope tow park that was practicing wall rides on the side of a tall box. He was literally just inches off the snow with his entire body and I was impressed by the creativity

the biggest issue is that its the fuckin xgames, people can win a good amount of money from knuckle huck, the athletes are gonna do tricks that get rewarded so that they can try to win.

People like carnage! An event like that would attract more normies and that equals more moolah for the corporate beast!
 
How about we get some better fucking judges, don’t blame the athletes cause it’s their job and they know the judges want to see 21shittys, they just trynna make a living and hustling. Also fuck Andre rage tiki and his whiney ass, had to throw that in

Its weird they had "street style" for snowboards only.
 
There should be a comp called “small air” where they build a 10 ft table and let the public thrash the shit out of it for a week before the comp with no grooming or raking
 
Only thing they had to do is just adjust angle of "take off". With more mellow lip would be harder to catch air and miss the knuckle completely.

Also, I agree that it would be better if judges rewarded the guys and girls who actually used the knuckle, not only nose/tail butter off the lip.

But I hope event will not fade away. Still entertaining to see them huck the hell out. :D

imo it should be a super long roller without take-off lips. so you can choose when to take off and actually incorporate the knuckle with creative taps, drags and butters.

it also should be a standalone feature and not be recycled flat knuckle from BA jump. I understand it's also a question of space and snow but still. stand-alone event deserves a stand-alone feature.

if you watch "descendance" the movie for example, they've built us a super long roller'ish knuckle. you could double, tap,drag everything. this would open up so much more variety in terms of trick choice
