did it bother anyone else that the snowboarding events were called "Real Snow" and "Real Snow Backcountry" and seemed to have no need for further explanation? Whereas "Real Skiing Backcountry" needed to be clarified as skiing... both take place on snow, WTF

Yeah Sammy has a legit shot at winning this thing. I've never seen him on any death defying spines but his pillow shots are up there with Tanner, and he is the best in the air on that list hands down, maybe in the entire industry. He can do any trick in the BC and so stylish. Such an all around skier.

Newschoolers influence will fuck this up as usual. I wouldn't be surprised if somehow Henrik didn't end up being declared the winner.

I would bet that a lot of other skiers didn't even bother for those reasons alone.

Also note that there are no skiers who exclusively for TGR or MSP.

Maybe we can get a Tudor and Pettit clips that will make up for the dissapointment that was their WE segments.

Its disappointing that lot of big mountain skiers aren't competing. Sage is a solid comp skier and competes in the FWT, Hoji and Treadway would kill it, and it would be nice to have some up and coming skiers like Ligare get the exposure. It seems like its going to be more park oriented.

The focus is solely on backcountry freestyle as opposed to big mountain, hence why those guys weren't on the invite list.

3. Well it's backcountry jibbing/booter focused so that's not surprising. The real women has Ingrid and Michelle who are pretty much exclusive MSP.

However I wonder who this is going to effect next years ski movies.
