Xbox red ring

i made a thred about a week ago about how my xbox got the RROD. some of u said not to do the towel trick, but i did and it has been working for 5 days now!

pretty lucky for youfor some reason my xbox is holding up well, i'm satisfiedsometimes i get the red ring and it just shuts off so i turn it back on and it works fineit's happened twice and it never stays brokedid

i did that then it broke again the next day, still broken but don't care enough to get it fixed

ive had my xbox for a year and 2 days now, and never gotten a red ring!

if u get the RROD u can send it in for free, as many times as u need to bc it is a hardware failure.so its free.

i got it too about 2 weeks ago

microsoft fixed it for free and payed for the shipping for me which i thought was pretty good

Yeah man, you get a brand new one usually too, i did. After my xbox hardware failing and being past that warranty, then i just turned it on to see if it would work and BAM RROD and i got it warrantied. Shits for 3 years, took like less than two weeks to get ti back.

ya you can get a brand new one but why not try to use the towel trick.. because it usually takes a while to get your new one if you do send it in

wrap it with a towel, turn it on, leave it for an hour or two, turn it off, remove towel, let cool, enjoi
