Xbox or PS3?

Hey NS'ers my friends and I allways argue over which is better. Personally Im all about the xbox, but i wanna hear some solid reasons why you guys think the PS3 is so much better
 
I don't care if it's a repost. here is my opinion. When PS3 and the 360 first came out they focused on different things. PS3 said we will give free online, better graphics, and blu ray. Xbox said we will have the best games, which they did. However, lately Xbox doesn't have the stranglehold on games they used to. Before they had Halo and Halo was the shit. But now PS3 has games like Uncharted, Infamous, and little big planet. Xbox has Forza but PS3 has Gran Turismo so that's a wash. Now Xbox still has Halo but Halo isn't the king of games that it used to be. Last year I would've said Xbox was better but now it is PS3
 
Thank you. I would like to hear some of the arguments for Xbox if we can keep things civil. This is a debate that changes all the time due to new games and online updates and i don't know much about Xbox
 
honestly im an xbox fan solely because of halo. most of my friends have xboxes as well and when playstation got hacked that kinda freaked errybody out and made it seem like xbox is more protected solely because you pay for live (for whatever reason)

 
im not trolling, but i give xbox the advantage simply becuase of halo... the best video game series in my opinion.
 
You can go back and forth forever, when you get down to it it's pretty even actually. I just prefer the xbox because that'd what most of my friends have and I like the controller a little more.

The hack wasn't as bad as people made it seem in terms of financial records being stolen. Most of the hacking was just to make the netwrok crash. They added a ton of security that actually pisses me off cause my password has to like 15 characters with every kind of symbol imaginable.
 
what a bummer that must be. but yeah people kinda blew it out of proportion saying how it lasted like 2-3 months and they lost billions
 
i know that ps3 online is free, but i honestly feel like 360 is not nearly as laggy as ps3. also there is a lot larger community on 360 so its easier to find people you know with a xbox. also, i think that the xbox controller is way better than the ps3 one. but ps3 does have metal gear solid and god of war. also is skyrim still unplayable on ps3?

my final answer: 360 > PS3
 
Well it did last 3 months cause it took sony that long to get security up but the hackers didn't steal anywhere close to a billion
 
Online is not laggy anymore if you have good internet. As for the controller that's a matter of preference. I will say that games like call of duty is better with an xbox controller but for things like fifa, madden, or racing games i'd have to say PS3 controllers are better. What do you mean unplayable cause i'm playing skyrim right now on PS3?
 
haha to be completely honest i dont care in the slightest. and troll/ d-bag whatever its still fun when kids like you argue, I personally dont have a problem with it. and i dont think that many of my comments were that "fucking dumb"
 
I use to be all about xbox but when I moved in with my friend I started playing a lot of playstation and I have to admit I enjoy it more. Xbox really only has Halo and lets be honest halo hasn't changed much since the first one. Playstation has metal gear solid and uncharted plus a few other games.Both are good systems besides xbox's 50 percent failure rate, but I would rather go with Playstation.

1. online is free

2.has better games (halo sucks so much balls)

3.blu-ray player

4. you can go on the internet with it

5.you dont have annoying kids on there mics in every match you go to

6. everyone on XBOX hacks the game and ruins it for everyone else

7. no red ring of death

8. you can just slide the games in dont have to open the cartridge piece which breaks and is just fucking annoying

9. i have one so we can play online together

Although im personally a PC person, some arguments that support the Xbox is the Online Service, Xbox Exclusives, Most DL comes out first on xbox, if not only, and how popular it is, allowing people to find others to play with.
 
That is true cause there was one game that was only on Xbox Live that I wanted. it came out beginning of last year and PS3 just got it in the last month
