so i got a 360 for xmas and its pretty dope

im hooked up with gh3, cod4 and skate

live gamertag: gson 802

but thats only for the time being--will update it once my 1 month free trial ends

should i get halo3? people say cod4 is better but everyone has halo and i might have to make the investment..

 
both games for their campaigns are equally as good...but when it come down to online play COD 4 takes it...there is just to much bs that goes on in halo
 
I disagree with most of you guys. I play halo 3 and ive played COD4 online on both the 360 and the PS3 and i still like halo 3 more. I dunno its just a personal preference. Im a big halo fan and i just love the way the game plays. Call of duty seems kind of slow in pace compared to the action in Halo 3 but I'm sure a lot of people will disagree with me. COD4 is a sick game and I like how its realistic but I would recommend getting halo 3 too.
 
Nothing can touch Halo 3's matchmaking system for online play. It beats the hell of of waiting in lobbies for people to boot you because they just wanted their friends to join.
 
Halo 3 has online play for my then one person on the same xbox, so if friends come over alot i really suggest it
 
Definitely get halo 3, but make sure you have live when you do. You will seriously never need to buy another game. Its that entertaining.
 
halo 3 online play was the biggest letdown of the year. get it, play the campain, wack off to it due to its awesome halo'ness, then return it. COD4 outdoes halo 3 on so many levels it makes me sad. like honestly i was the biggest halo fan, still am but i dont know if i will ever get over how they fucked up live, like the way they set it up is good, but the levels blow, they should have left auto-aim in because it speeds up the pace of the game, and if you have played halo 2, you can pretty much know how halo 3 is. you can expect to jump 15 feet in the air, throw grenades 400 yards, and fly around random alien shit...but if you want to know how i really feel about halo 3 multiplayer, (i even bought legendary) the other day my friend came over, and we played halo 2. not because we were bored of halo 3, but because i would honestly rather play halo 2 than halo 3.
 
haha wow gray you actually got some replies on this one! id get halo 3 just cuz all of our friends have it. i mean you got cod the other night so save for halo and ull be set for a WHILE.

haha. i dont own a 360 but ive played cod2 cod3 cod4 and halo 1 2 3. for 360. and I would say the graphics for cod 4 are brilliant, yet the gameplay feels awkard. i dunno the feeling of cod2 was sick. im sure once i played it enough though i would love it.
 
haha wooow, play me and get raped kid. leaving auto-aim on is not for noobs as many think. it speeds up the pace of the game because you can move and snipe and once you play for a while you can get a feel for when you are over some ones head. have you ever sweep sniped? like honestly i miss this so much, sniping on lockout someone comes behind you and you just jump turn around and no-scope sweep snipe him, i hate having to like crouch and wait for someone to be perfectly in my cross-hairs from like 8 miles away, its so boring. Halo 2>all.

just my opinion.
