is it worth it to buy the $400 version or would the $300 version make no difference, like whats different

i also don't have one.

it just made me laugh that so many people replied with only that. ( i actually do not own one, but if I were buying one i'd go with the more expensive ig I had the money)

hahah yeah thats the thing, i have like 500 bucks to my name, but i kinda want to buy other shit too

hm, I just checked on the Xbox site. I wouldn't go with the core system, then there's the regular and the elite. The elite is black, has High def cables and a 120 gig Hard Drive (compared to regulars 20 gig drive.) how much from games gets stored on the drive that you would need all that room? unless you buy movies from them (can you do that?) which I probably wouldn't, but you might. what else does the elite have? I heard something about fan/ heat issues..?

You can get used 20gb 360s with a controler and remote for under 300 bucks online (ebay amazon). The ones with the 120gb like ^ said are 500 bucks.

naw i dont want the elite, waste of money, but why not the core system thats my question it seems as though it has everything but less memory?

microsoft might have a price cut and the core pacakage might go to $200 but i dont know how soon that will happen

well, the core has no HD cables included, and no hard drive. i'd go with the regular for just those 2 features, but if you don't have high def and you don't care about a hard drive go with the core, especially if the price drops by $100.

last November Amazon had a sale, 1000 core systems for $100. the site crashed for 15 min about 5 seconds past the time it was released, needless to say I didn't get one, so hearing from someone with a 360 would probably do you better.

If you get the 300 dollar xbox (the core system) you cant save shit basicley and you have no memory card. if you want to get one it is 100 bucks for a hard drive 300$xbox+100 HDD= 400$

get the 400 dollar xbox (the premium)

simple solution:

ps3-konsole.jpg

get the 400 dollar one, with the harddrive.

Thats what I bought and it was definetly worth it.

I cant wait for Halo 3

yeah, if you want a cheap blu-ray player. it has like....6 games for it tho. but yeah, got for the premium version cuz. you'll need the hard-drive.

If you're going to store a bunch of stuff (movies, music, games and the like) the Elite (black 360) might be the best bet, it's only $80 more, and the 120Gb hard drive that it comes with sells for $180 alone.

it is a little strange but i dont see a difference between 360 and ps3 besides the blueray and lack of games for the ps3. plus xbox has amped
