ps3 by a long shot. Almost everything about the system is twice as advanced as the 360.I wouldnt get the 360 just cuz i already have a computer. It sounds to me like microsoft is just trying to make it into a comp.

i like sony, so probably ps3. i like the games better (don't like halo or sports/racing games, which microsoft kills with). socom is awesome and i like not having to pay for online (don't know if ps3/xbox360 are doing that). i think that ps2 games are better than xbox, except i wish amped and conkers bad fur day were on ps2. sony has been good to me in the past, while microsoft blows my gargantuan* penis.

Is this the end of PC gaming? My friend aluded to the fact that these systems are so powerful and so cheap in comparison.

^definetely not. The cool thing about pcs is that they advance everyday. The ps2 came out 6 years ago and we wont be able to play a more advanced system until next year or later this year. These systems will be real advanced for like a year after they come out and then the pc's will be blowing them out of the water.

well.... Depends on which one i can mod better. So far its def been the xbox, i love JSRF and amped. I'd like to play FF though.

And the xbox and nintendo are both going to have free online ( xbox you can play for free in the weekends apparently) while i dont know about sony. MMORPGS are the BEST thing ever so whatever does that best maybe. plus sony are cheapasses, probably still need a damn multitap to play four player on no. 3

Sony partnered up with Intel and Intel has a new processor chip called "The Cell" which runs at like 4 GHZ maybe more in some situations. It will be in the new PS3 making it extremely powerful and allow for better graphics. I also read it will cost about 500 coin for the new PS3.

i still don't think ps3 online will cost money. sony hasn't done that so far, and a record amount of people play socom2. in fact, more hours have been logged into socom than in all of xbox online.

and it said on ign statistics or something that the ps3 was 35x more powerfull than ps2.

PS2 owns xbox360 in specs, except maybe harddrive haha. I think we'll have to wait to see which one will be the one to get. I personally want the GAME BOY MICRO! OOOOH PAPER BOY

good question, i'm guessing xbox will be cheaper though because it will have been out for a while (comes out this fall well b 4 ps3) and because ps3 will probably be a little more loaded. the graphics on the ps3 look soo sick but i will have to go with xbox cuz ps3 controllers look super shitty and i love the xbox ones and all of the good games (especially halo 3)

And yah, a debate is brewing. I'm buying xbox 360 first. And mabey ps3 if it is really actually sweet, like it looks. I'll hopefully end up with both, over time. But most likely xbox 360 first.
