Today, xbox released their spring update for the 360 which revamped the xbox live marketplace and made a few other changes to make communicating with friends easier and blah blah blah. On to my point, they have Shanghai Six, and Long Story Short available to download for "rent" for the low cost of 320 marketplace points for normal definition and 480 points for HD. They also have ROAM, which is a mountain bike film.

jea, i downloaded LSS like 3 days ago, but i tried SH6, and theres an error when i try to download it. do you have this problem too?

yeah ROAM has got to be the best/most feel-good mountain bike movie ive ever seen. too bad they dont make ski movies like that...

just be thankful that Microsoft has some kind of recognition for the sport we love, i think its pretty awesome that they even bothered to put thoseon there. are there any snowboard films on there? nope.

My bro just downloaded SH6 and LSS for me, can't wait to watch Lvl1 in HD. And Roam? Can't wait to watch the Whistler seg on a big screen HDTV!

if you love urban and BC booters cuz thats all the movie is...kinda gets boring i thought..same with any L1 movie i think though.

the "renting" is good for 14 days without viewing from time of purchase, or 24 hours as soon as you hit 'Play.'

Or, here's an idea...

Take the DVD that you have of Shanghai Six, Long Story Short or any ski movie for that fact, rip it to your computer and load it into your Windows Media or Zune Player library. Then, link that computer (on your home network) to your 360.

Voila, you now have your movies on your TV. Sure they aren't in HD but it beats paying microsoft.

The spring update kicks ass by the way. I highly suggest everyone to download it that has a 360.
